From what I read they discovered a tumor in his bladder during a checkup for an unrelated issue. They removed the tumor and now he is doing chemotherapy. Obviously his therapy must be going well since they are proceeding with the transfer.

Apparently the Olympiakos camp want to retain the current 14-team/Playoffs format, while the AEK/Panathinaikos/PAOK camp want to proceed with some kind of restructuring for at least one season and then return back to the 14-team format.

This would mean nobody will be relegated and 4 teams from Superleague 2 will be promoted. Along with this year's Greek Cup final, this is another good joke concerning Greek football.

The first things that need to be addressed are the contract situations with Vieirinha and Mauricio. Vieirinha will probably be signed, but if Mauricio is not signed very soon we need to look for a replacement prior to our CL game. That's probably where the Milanov rumor comes into play. I am starting to have doubts about Misic as well. Rumors I heard is that he is going through chemotherapy. If that is the case he is probably done playing for a while, and I don't see PAOK spending the big money that we need to pay his team. Time will tell.

And so are most of the teams due to the pandemic. Not much you can do in the month that is left before the first game. I doubt we will sign anybody prior to the CL game. Maybe one or two players. Most transfers will happen in September and October.
