  1. If Jaba wants to leave so badly, let him bring an offer that matches or comes close to the 5 mil investment that PAOK made on him. If not let him rot on the bench and report him to FIFA. Biseswar I believe is history. The sooner we unload him the better. It was a big mistake to give him a 3-year contract extension. Too bad, i liked the guy when he actually played. We should just let Rey go. No reason keeping him just to be the 4th goalie on the squad. Overall the goaltender situation needs to be resolved and streamlined. I see Zivkovic being sold before Giannoulis.
  2. Your lineup looks good. I think that Zivkovic will start in goal though. Paschalakis will play on Sunday.
  3. I think you mean Rodrigo. His injury wasn't serious, but I doubt he will play. I think him and Vieirinha will take it easy and see if they can be ready for Sunday's game.
  4. Giannoulis will not play in this game due to cards which is fine with me. He should be rested for the big game on Sunday. The only problem is that we have no other LB available, so I see Crespo playing there again
  5. It's different this time around. There will be 12 teams in the playoffs (ten 2nd place winners and two best teams from Nations League). The 12 teams will be divided into 3 groups of 4 teams. There will a be a semifinal round and a final round within those groups, with the 3 winners making the finals.
  6. Realistically we have a very small chance of making the finals. If we manage to outperform ourselves and do finish in 2nd place ahead of Sweden we still have to eliminate 2 other countries in order to make it to Qatar. If I was a betting man I would say we are not going to the finals, but than again back in 2004 we had Spain in our qualifying group and we all know how that turned out, so anything is possible. Miracles do happen sometimes.

  8. Wague and Michailidis were decent. Nothing spectacular, but they played fine. Tzolis and Zivkovic the MVP's of the game. Without those two we would have lost the game. Low point was El Kaddouri with his red card.
  9. I would suggest you tone it down with your anti-PAOK rhetoric. We are all PAOK fans here. We will not agree on everything. Everyone can have their opinion.
  10. Thats been our problem for ages.
  11. And we are going to the game with Aris without one of our best players.
  12. It should still be penalty though.
  13. El Kaddouri you idiot. Two games in a row you burn the team.
  14. Tells you a lot about our players physical condition when after a short sprint they tend to get injured.
  15. That's the big question. Is the establishment/front office going to let Garcia do his thing? For example I am sure Garcia or any other coach would like to kick Jaba out of the team for his childish behavior, but will he be able to do it when the player was brought into the team by the Savvidis family that pays the wages.
  16. Time to forget Europe and focus on Sunday's game. Good thing is that we will have Augusto available for this game. He was missed in yesterday's game.

  18. Even if Garcia matures quickly and gains the necessary experience there is always the chance of of him clashing heads with the organizational establishment within the club that resulted in successful coaches (Ivic, Lucescu) leaving the team. Until the people in the front office mature, don't expect coaching positions and player relations (Jaba, Matos, etc.) to improve.
  19. Yes that is a cardinal sin. PAOK should be spelled only with capital letters! Period.
  20. There were coaching mistakes made in the last two European games. Let's face it. This is all new to Garcia. He doesn't even have a coaching license yet. He will need time to learn the ropes in the man's game. Coaching 19 year old kids is different think than coaching a senior squad with senior players and their egos. I have no doubt he will be successful in the end, but it will take time. And since we are in a rebuilding stage, he will need to continue what Ferreira and Rebbe started, which is make the team younger. We cleaned the roster quite a bit in the summer, but there is still some work left.
  21. Because that's where he belongs. He has not shown that he has a spot on this team. And that is saying a lot.
  22. 1. Granada 10 2. PSV 9 3. PAOK 5 4. Omonia 4 Granada and PSV qualify. Omonia deposits 570K into their bank account. Big rotation in the Granada game expected.
  23. Selling those will be our biggest mistake right now.
  24. Actually two saves by Zivkovic.
