  1. We still have a slight chance to catch Cyprus and Denmark in the standings so we can have a better representation in the 2022-2023 European season. It's not going to be easy if our three teams can't produce any wins. I think it will take 9 to 10 wins for Olympiakos, PAOK and AEK combined this season to accomplish that.
  2. Easily lost in the semis in the tourney played in the city I grew up at.
  3. Klaus Athanasiadis and Glykos will continue their career in Superleague 2 with Apollon Larisa.
  4. Usually in games like this we tend to perform better and are able to get results. It probably is because we are not expected to be the dominant team and rely more on counter attacks. There I see Zivkovic and Tzolis able to do damage. As long as we can play good defensively I think we have chance. We really have nothing to lose. Everyone expects us to lose, so even a tie will be good result. The most important game for us will be the one after this one at home against PSV. If we don't win that one we are out.

  6. Ferreira is not going anywhere. Nobody is going to pay 4 mil to let him go right now. Next game we play against the best team in the group even though they were in Pot 3 in the draw. I think we have a better chance of winning that game then today's game, since we will be the outsiders and there will be more space for our offense to score. I just hope we can play a decent defensive game.
  7. PSV - Granada 1:2 1. Granada 2:1 3 2. PAOK 1:1 1 3. Omonia 1:1 1 4. PSV 1:2 0 Next games: Granada - PAOK Omonia - PSV
  8. Zivkovic keeps us in the game.
  9. The crosses into the box are just giving the ball away. We need Biseswar and Swiderski in the game now. Colak is useless
  10. Or any European games for that matter.
  11. We are not winning this game. More likely to end up 0:2 than us scoring a goal. We just don't have ant creativity on offense. Colak is lowly becoming a "palto". Michailidis a big liability on the left side. Ingason not playing well either already has a card.
  12. Good luck winning this game now.
  13. And there it is 0:1
  14. The captain is back:
  15. Starting lineup: ------------ Zivkovic ------------- -- Ingason - Varela - Michailidis -- Matos ---------------- Giannoulis ------ Schwab ------ Esiti ------- --- Murg ------------ Zivkovic --- ----------- Colak ----------------
  16. PAOK TV is presenting a video with all the PAOK goals in Europa League Group Stage games. There are some nice goals in this video. https://tv.paokfc.gr/vods/vod.248?fbclid=IwAR2l4V7BfdysNMiH4AXDcDS4c5_LUcAy3yo6lZ0iJo5Kum0n6KVlnp5pybc You need to login to your PAOK TV account in order to watch the 10 minute video.
  17. It's one of Rey, Pereira or Jaba. I am leaning towards Jaba since he is known to frequent bars on late nights.
  18. Vierinha will sign for one more year with PAOK tomorrow. George Savvidis's Instagram post points to that fact:
  19. Ten (10) Aris players tested positive for COVID. Their game with Larisa this weekend was postponed.
  20. Another positive COVID case at PAOK. My bet is on Jaba, with Rey and Pereira as the other possibilities. So far this season we have 5 positive COVID cases on the team: Stoch Warda Limnios Wague ?
  21. The infected player did not impact the player list for the game. As for the lineup, I think Ninua will partner with Schwab and after we score couple goals (I hope) Esiti will come in. Actually I would like to see a 4-4-2 formation in this game with Colak and Swiderski as forwards, but I don't think we will see that as Ferreira was salivating over the 3 center back formation during his press conference today.
  22. Why would we ship Augusto? He is a decent midfielder with a good shot. Would be a good back up on the bench. If Tsiggaras refuses to sign a contract extension as he is doing right now he might be history. Ninua is here to stay. You don't spend 800K just to ship him right away to another team.
  23. New set of captains announced by PAE PAOK Crespo Matos Varela El Kaddouri Giannoulis I would think that Vieirinha will be added if and when he rejoins the team.
  24. Basically what AEX played this past weekend. All Scottish crew as far as officiating the game is concerned. Hopefully the ref will not keep the cards in his pocked as did the German one on Sunday.
