Reports are that PAE PAOK made 700,000 Euro from PAOK TV subscriptions so far.

There are several reasons why the numbers were not higher: I believe a lot of elderly PAOK fans don't want to bother with the new technologies and at least in Greece just go and see the game in a kafenio, where they either a hacked stream, or just use one subscription to show the game on 10 screens. Unfortunately I don't see how they could technically accomplish charging higher price for restaurants and bars as opposed to a residential subscription. Another reason is the ease of finding illegal streams on the internet. Unfortunately I thing there are quite a few PAOK fans that used these streams as opposed to paying the 5 Euro. Also I don't see a lot of non-PAOK fans subscribing to PAOK TV because they don't want to support the team that they hate. For example in two weeks we will play Aris at home. I don't see many fans of Aris shelling out money to PAOK TV. They will go for the hacked streams to watch the game. I tend to believe what pash said. I did not expect bigger numbers than what we got. Maybe with the derbies we can get up to 75,000 subscriptions per game, but I doubt it. Since we did not do that with the Slovan game, I don't see us doing in the derbies either. I think the test period for the PAOK TV is over and PAE PAOK needs to make a decision right now if they will continue this project or not. By the time we play Aris I think we will know.

Warda is close to being loaned to Larisa. There should be some major battles between him and Kougias. Moulen is heading to Xanthi. Looks like Kace might survive and stay with us thanks to the inujuries to El Kaddouri and Augusto.

That's not necessarily that bad. Last season AEK with 0 points got favorable draws and made it to the group stage. I am sure if we did not get Ajax this season we would have fared better. Sure getting seeded would be preferable, but let's not paint everything black.

Looks like we are back to old pre-Anastasiadis days. The saboteurs got their way by firing the coach and bringing back their buddy to the team. At the same time we have the hottest left back is not even being called up. The more things change the more they stay the same. Paul and company is back in charge.

Looking back I think the way and the timing of Lucescu leaving the team clearly had an effect on the European results. It was going to be tough for the new coach to establish his style in such a short time and with the players that he did not pick. It will be important for the coach to receive the support so he can build his team for the next 3 seasons.

Today (and in the previous game) the team with the lucky bounces managed to qualify to the next stage. We just did not have luck today which was evident in the last few minutes of the game. Now it's the championship and the cup only. I expect in the next couple day a sale of one or two players. Also don't expect any substantial transfers happening.
