Rodrigo is definitively better player than Taylor, but I don't think we can compare him to Matos. it will be a while before we see another Matos on PAOK IMHO.
-
Difference is that Rodrigo's contract expires and he has no desire to continue with PAOK, while Taylor is signed until 2024.
-
Apparently we are interested in 23 year old attacking midfielder Andre Franco from Estoril.
-
I like the loan status of Sastre. It's win-win situation. If he performs, he will get the 60% clause and will be signed automatically. Rumor is that the purchase clause is 500K. If he doesn't perform, he will be history. In the meantime it appears we will unload Rodrigo, and have Lyratzis and Taylor (plus Vieirinha if needed) as backups. That should be enough to finish the season.

The first game against AEK was scheduled for January 19, 2022 at 19:00 EET.
-
PAOK reported 8 active COVID cases today and the game against AEK will be postponed.
-
Game rescheduled for January 12 at 17:15 EET.
-
Three of the 4 COVID cases came back negative in today's testing. However five new COVID infections were announced. This means we have 6 COVID infections currently among players. For the game against AEK on Sunday to be postponed we need 7 total infections in Friday's tests.

Panaitolikos announced 13 COVID cases today. The game will most likely be postponed. As a result Akpom's red card will carry over to the game against AEK on Sunday.

2021 - 2022 Season: Round 11 (05.01.2022, 15:00 EET - Dimotiko Stadio Aridaias, Pella) Almopos Ariadaias - PAOK Thessaloniki 'B' TV: no coverage
-
Happy New Year everyone.
-
Nice mini movie about the 2021 cup final from PAOK TV: Probably the team's top achievement in 2021.
-
Various posts on social media note that the following players have not been spotted in team practice pictures: Paschalakis, Swiderski, Ingason, Mitrita, Akpom, Jaba, and Crespo. Take your pick on which 4 tested positive for Covid.
-
Boto was officially announced today as the new Technical Director of PAE PAOK. He has visited the team's practice session today and also met with the PAOK 'B' team players and coaching staff.
-
PAOK - Aris final. You heard it here first. Repeat of 2003.
-
Ingason is our best defenseman, however the injury set him quite back. Rumors are that the Turks are dangling a 1 mil carrot in form of a contract. They are offering 500K to PAOK for an early release, but PAOK demands 1.5 mil. Turkish press (fake news machine) claims an official offer was made by Trabzonspor, but PAOK has not received such a thing.

2021 - 2022 Season: Round 8 (29.12.2021, 15:00 EET - Makedonikos Stadium, Efkarpia) PAOK Thessaloniki 'B' - AO Kavala TV: no coverage Kavala squad consists of amateurs soccer players and athletes of other sports, so expect a big win and the possible Koutsias hatttrick that was predicted by pash.
-
I think it's a FC Copenhagen player.
-
And so is Akpom for the red card he got in the cup game.
-
I have seen few PAOK 'B" games and believe me he has no spot on our senior team. He is young and might improve in the future, but he is nowhere near being good enough right now.

Because he is not that good.
-
It's pretty much certain that the big 4 will not face each other (prove me wrong EPO). The only issue to be resolved is who will face 'O' Aris. Would be interesting to see another Olympiakos vs 'O' Aris matchup. i think we will end up with either Lamia or Agrinio.
