  4. Supposedly for less money than PAOK's last offer which was 500K.
  5. Tsitsipas never showed up fot the 5th set. Spent all his energy to tie the game and had nothing left in the end.
  6. With PAOK anything is possible, but I think Savvidis is very pissed at Vierinha after refusing a contract extension worth 1 mil per season earlier this year. Actually Vierinha never replied to the offer, which probably made things worse. If what Vierinha say is true that he wants to still play, he will end up at another team. Either in Saudi Arabia with Lucescu or some Dutch team as rumored. I think egos on both sides got in a way.
  7. Spoke too quick. Tsitsipas fought back and tied the game 2:2 sets. The deciding set about to start.
  8. Djokovic clearly superior to Tsitsipas in their semifinal game. Tsitsipas comes close to win sets but just can't finish it off. On several occasions he's been leading 40-0 in points to only to lose the game. Down 2 sets. Looks like Djokovic will easily prevail in 3 sets.
  9. The Captain bids goodbye: With this the great Vierinha is history as a player with PAOK. I am pretty sure Vieirinha as well as most of the fans expected a different ending.
  10. With the demise of kapaki there is no other source that I am aware of.
  11. Michailidis and Tzolis made their debut with the national team . Tzolis played only few minutes and did not have a chance to show anything. Michailidis was very poor and was at fault on both Austrian goals.
  12. Through some basic detective work I have deducted that the unnamed player with COVID is no other than Wague.
  13. Misic won't play competitive soccer until next season (2021-2022). And that is assuming his therapy goes well and he is free of cancer. Yes apparently he had an additional surgery recently. That could be good or bad, but only his doctors know the facts. All the fake news we had in recent months that we paid the buyout clause were just that. Fake news. It now appears that PAOK made a decision to not claim him right now due to the his medical condition. I am sure PAOK and Sporting came to a gentlemen's agreement to revisit Misic loan/transfer when he is ready to return to play.
  14. Tsitsipas played very well today. He'll need all that and more when he faces Djokovic in the semis.

  16. UEFA Players Lists explained: What is a ‘List A’ player? A maximum of 25 players, two of whom must be goalkeepers. There are a minimum of eight places reserved exclusively for 'locally trained players'. If a club have fewer than eight locally trained players in their squad, then the maximum number of players on List A is reduced accordingly. What's a 'locally trained player'? There are two categories: 1. A Club Trained Player - This is a player who has been on the club’s book for three years between the ages of 15 and 21. 2. Association Trained Players - This is for players who were on the books of another club, in the same Association, for three years between the ages of 15 and 21. No club can have more than four association-trained players among their eight nominees on List A. What is List B, then? A player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, 1 January 1995 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday (players aged 16 may be registered if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years). Clubs are entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season, but the list must be submitted by no later than 24:00CET the day before a match.
  17. There is a limit set by UEFA of 17 foreign players in list A.
  18. With European list announced and Mauricio and Vieirinha not being included it's pretty much certain that they will not be signed.
  19. Why poor Tzolis? BTW missing from the list are Rey, Jaba, and Pereira
  20. By the end of the day we need to give UEFA the list of players for the Europa League group stage games. Once we supply it, we can't make any additions or changes, so if we want to sign a free agent and have him available for European games we have to sign them today. Would not be surprised if Mauricio and Vieirinha are announced by the end of the day.
  21. The contract of Pelkas, Akpom and Limnios were expiring in June 2021. On January 1, 2021 they could agree with any team for free and PAOK would not see a penny. The important thing was to renegotiate their contracts last year. As far as I know Pelkas and Akpom refused to negotiate. If we did not sell them now even at the low prices we would most likely lose both players for free. @Athens4 and Vieirinha too.
  22. Guys you have to realize that at the beginning of the season PAE PAOK made a strategic move to keep Ferreira and proceed with a team rebuilding plan. Ferreira is not going anywhere in the near future. He will most likely stay on until the end of the season unless things go horribly wrong. So far far we have met one of the the basic team goals, which was group stager of Europa League.
