Squad for the game:
-
This is the game that will most likely decide the 1st place in the group. With a win we pretty much lock in the first place.
-
The youngsters (Talichmanidis, Koutsias, Tsiggaras, Lyratzis) have been officially announced that they will help out the 'B' team this weekend. In case of Ingason I think they are trying to convince him that this is the right thing to do.

We'll use this thread to follow the PAOK 'B' team Superleague 2 games. Superleague 2 starts this weekend unless it's postponed at the last minute. Still no TV contract, but I have a feel ERT will come through at the last minute.
-
Kurtic, Tsiggaras and Ingason are available to play. Now if Lucescu decides to play them is another question.
-
Kurtic and Tsiggaras are back from COVID protocols and are available for action. Ingason is taking part in full practices.
-
Sidcley out for 3 weeks Mitrita out for 4 weeks Both with sprains. Sidcley is a big loss, since we only have Vieirinha on that side and he is not 100% fit.
-
Played in 5 games for PAOK that season mostly coming from the bench. The only game he started was against Olympiakos. The Apollon game was actually his debut wearing PAOK jersey Video from the Apollon game:

Olympiakos is nothing special from what I have seen so far this season. They are beatable. The only reason why we are not in 1st place in the standings right now is losing 5 point at home to Giannina and Volos.
-
I did not see the game, but it's obvious we don't have the depth to sustain high level of play with games very 3 days. From what I heard the two Olympiakos goals were gifts from Esiti. Yes Esiti who was our best player in Copenhagen. The "loss" to Volos appears to be very costly. Instead of being just 2 points behind an average Olympiakos team we are 4 points behind and AEK pulling ahead of us.
-
Wonder if he starts with Varela-Crespo CB duo. Would not put it past him. Risky move if he does.
-
Doesn't look like we will get any returns from injuries/illnesses, but I think we will have a slightly different lineup compared to yesterday. My lineup: ------------- Paschalakis ------------ Rodrigo - Mihaj - Michailidis - Sidcley ----- Esiti ------------- Schwab ----- Zivkovic ------ Augusto ---- Biseswar ------------- Swiderski -------------- But I think Lucescu will start Varela and Vieirinha
-
I agree. It will be a tough game against them at home. I will take the tie as well assuming we beat Slovan and the Imps.
-
The last 20 minutes of the game we played like a little team. Did not have any possession and we were giving them chances to get back in the game. Copenhagen is obviously much better team than PAOK and we will have tough time against them in Toumba. Hopefully we can win or at a minimum get a tie and not drop points against Slovan and Lincoln. That should be enough for 1st place in the group. Zivkovic and Esiti our best players. Varela should not be our starting CB anymore.
-
You would think we are playing with 10 men.
-
Hopefully we won't self destroy ourselves like we did this past Sunday.
-
Gooooooooooooal Zivkovic
-
Gooooooal Sidcley
-
Red card for Copenhagen keeper.

Actual starting lineup: ------------- Paschalakis ----------- Taylor - Mihaj - Michailidis - Sidcley ---- Esiti -------------- Schwab ---- Zivkovic ----- Biseswar ----- Mitrita ------------- Swiderski ------------ BENCH: Zivkovic, Talichmanidis, Varela, Lyratzis, Vieirinha, Giaxis, El Kaddouri, Murg, Konstantelias, Augusto, Koutsias, Akpom
