  1. 2:0 halftime I hope our players remember how the 4:1 became 4:4. Sastre nothing special so far. Unless he excels later I don't see any difference with Lyratzis.
  2. Game against Trikala postponed due to covid.
  3. Seems to me that we would be better off by keeping Johannes Nicolaas van 't Schip!
  4. Greece's 2022 Winter Olympics Team: ALPINE SKIING Giannis Antoniou Maria Eleni Tsiovolou (Replacement athletes: Giannis Proios, Maria Nikolata Kaltsogianni) CROSS COUNTRY SKIING Apostolos Aggelis Maria Danou Nefeli Tita (Replacement athletes: Giorgos Anastasiadis, Ioanna Kotsalou)
  5. Swiderski will sign 4-year contract with Charlotte for around 1.4 mil per season which is a big raise compared to what PAOK paid him. My prediction is that Swiderski will stay at Charlotte for maybe 1 to 2 seasons and then return to Europe and sign a team in Italy or Germany. I think for PAOK it's a great deal. We pocket 5 mil and our initial 2.5 mil investment for the player paid off nicely. While at PAOK he could never become our no.1 striker. The question now is if we will bring in a replacement that's better than Swiderski. If not now, than during the summer transfer period. It remains to be seen, but I don't think Colak will really make an impact.
  6. Isn't he like 38 years old?
  7. Apparently we were also very close to unload Varela to Universitate Craiova, but the deal did not happen at the last minute after Varela did not come to an agreement with the Romanian team concerning his salary.
  8. Looks like the fake news is real. Swiderski to Charlotte FC for 5.5 mil Euro. He bid goodbye to the PAOK players after the game with AEK.
  9. Rumors/fake news: Swiderski is close to being sold to an MLS team for 5 mil.
  10. Considering the clear cut chances AEK had to score I am happy with the tie in the end. We just don't have any clue on what to do in the offensive zone when the other team parks the bus. The lack of speed on our team is our biggest problem. Having said that we are still in the game to progress to the semifinal. All we need now to do is score in Athens next week and all the pressure will be on AEK.
  11. At this point I would be happy with a 0:0 tie. We could easily be losing 5:0 up to this point.
  12. Our corners are atrocious. We could easily be losing 3:0 by now.
  13. Quarterfinal results: Panaitolikos Agrinio - Olympiakos Piraeus 2:1 Panathinaikos Athens - Anagennisi Karditsa 4:0 PAOK Thessaloniki - AEK Athens 0:0 Aris Thessaloniki - PAS LAmia
  14. I was expecting Vieirinha to start instead of Sidcley.
  15. Happy Birthday.

  18. Clear penalty according to current FIFA rules. The problem in Greek press is that nobody knows the rules of the game and they would rather create mayhem so they can get more clicks and viewers.
  19. AEK has two covid cases and couple injured players, so they will have some absences. Our main goal should be to keep a clean sheet since the away goal counts
  20. Better off there than at the xorafia of Superleague 2. There is a clause in the loan that he has to play on regular basis.
  21. The Swedish ref assigned for this game came down with covid and was replaced by a ref from Hungary.
