  1. Greek police has requested that the game be postponed. Same with the AEK - Panathinaikos game. Superleague claims they don't have available days to re-schedule the games.
  2. Round of 16 results: Niki Volos - Panaitolikos Agrinio 0:1 Aris Thessaloniki - OFI 3:1 Levadeiakos - Olympiakos Piraeus 3:2 Panathinaikos Athens - NFC Volos 2:1 AEK Athens - Kifisia 4:0 AE LArisa - PAOK Thessaloniki 1:1 Aghios Nikolaos - Anagennisi Karditsa 0:1 PAS Lamia - Ionikos Nikaias 2:0
  3. I m sure hash punishment is deserved here, but to accept the government coming in and tacking on another 1 or 2 game ban on top of it is a disgrace, when they did not do anything in other cases involving COVID restrictions that were broken. The problem with Gate 4 needs to be addressed by Savvidis and PAE PAOK. Half the people entering the gate don't buy tickets for the games and slip in for free without security doing anything. On top of that they fail to screen people from bringing in the various flares and explosive devices. Also it is very disturbing to see that somebody just unlocks the door at gate 4 allowing people to enter the field. Also, only four people were arrested on Sunday, while there were at least 30 people that entered the pitch. How hard would it be round up all of them? Here again we are talking inefficient security (company owned by Savvidis BTW) and the useless Greek police force.
  4. PAOK is facing up to 9 or 10 games without fans and heavy monetary fines as a result of the fans storming the field last Sunday. For the flares thrown on the pitch, the various object thrown on the pitch, the fact that the game was interrupted the projected fines are 8 games. The fact that 3 of the 4 people arrested did not have a proof of being vaccinated against COVID, the minister of health threatened that he will punish PAOK with additional 1 or 2 game bans. Looks like the PAOK lawyers have their work cut out for them on Friday.
  5. Apparently Lucescu is considering a 4-4-2 formation. Also it is certain that Ingason will get a start. Rodrigo got injured late in practice and that's why he is not on the squad, which kind of means we have no backup on LB position. With all that in mind my lineup for tomorrow: -------------- Zivkovic --------------- Lyratzis -- Ingason -- Mihaj -- Sidcley Murg - Esiti - Tsiggaras - El Kaddouri --- Swiderski ----------- Koutsias ---
  6. Makes sense since today's EPO is controlled by Melissanidis and AEK. Worst possible selection in my opinion. Can't decide if it would he would be worse than Gatuzzo.
  7. 2021 - 2022 Season: Round 6 (04.12.2021, 14:45 EET - Makedonikos Stadium, Efkarpia) PAOK Thessaloniki 'B' - Anagennisi Karditsa TV: ERT Sports Web Stream (ERTFlix)
  8. Santos would be the perfect coach for the NT, because of the style of football that his teams play. And this is the only style that our NT can play. Solid defense and stealing the games with counter attack. We just don't have the talent to play offensive style games. The only problem is that Santos will probably not accept the Greek NT job. I would say that it is more likely for him to end up coaching PAOK or AEK instead of the national team. Acting EPO president is correct stating that the new coach will be a foreign based one, but I think they will have a hard time finding somebody good. Just today there was a report that Gatuzzo might be an option. I hope that's just a rumor.
  9. The two recent WC qualifying games for the Greek Women's national team: Wales - Greece 5:0 Slovenia - Greece 0:0 Standings: 1. Wales 13 points (5 games) 2. France 12 (4) 3. Slovenia 10 (5) 4. Greece 6 (5) 5. Kazakhstan 0 (4) 6. Estonia 0 (5)
  10. Squad for the game: No Paschalakis, Varela, Crespo, Rodrigo, Augusto, Kagawa, Vieirinha, Mitrita and Oliveira. should be an interesting lineup tomorrow.

  13. Porto Karras, Halkidiki. Been there for several months now.
  14. I am certain point deductions is coming as there seems to be injured person on the field.
  15. The score could easily be 1:3. Only chance we had was the free kick by Kurtic. At this point take out Taylor and put in Rodrigo. Also El Kaddouri and Mitrita should come in.
  16. Only a matter of time
  17. Hopefully we are mentally and physically ready to play this game. We can't afford to drop anymore points.
  18. The goal difference right now is one goal in favor of Slovan, so if they win in Copenhagen by one goal we will need to win at least by 3 goals. Not sure we have the offense to do that.
  19. 0:0 tie Let's hope Copenhagen does not play their 'B' team against Slovan
  20. We completely harmless offensively.
  21. What a pathetic display of football. Slovan with a better chance to open the score. I think Swiderski needs to come in. We must win this game.
  22. Slovak channel Dvojka. But you need VPN.
  23. Agree 100%. Specially with names like Donis and Dellas being thrown around. The only one from those mentioned that would make the difference is Santos, and only under the conditions that he would not be interfered in his job by outside forces as in his last tenure.
