  1. Apparently the team is considering OAKA for this 'temporary' move - of course, if we move there I guarantee you there will be many roadblocks on the way back. Every delay that could happen in building a new Toumba, will occur. I saw on inPAOK earlier that the stadium in Serres is also in consideration - I'm assuming this is Panserraikos' stadium, but I believe that holds under 10k people. Having been there a few times, I'd say that even with upgrades, I'm not sure its capacity or build quality are really appropriate for a team that will be playing in Europe... Personally, I'd rather that stadium in Volos over OAKA. And that's even with the risk of people from Larissa coming over to stir up trouble.
  2. A shame about Varela and Crespo. What a fantastic duo they were. I would guess that if we were to sign only one of the two, it would be Varela - he is the more talented of the two and he may feel he's set down some roots (owning a home + having his son rising through the academy). Who knows. Biseswar as a Vukic-type super sub isn't a terrible idea if he's cheap, and Lucescu loves him. Only question is when his physical shortcomings become insurmountable. I would bet you Lucescu will want him again. I wonder how many changes we'll see next month. That might depend on whether or not we manage to qualify for the next stage of the Conference League...
  3. I didn't see the match, but just watched the highlights. Looks like there were many, many chances here. Not much to add apart from how nice it is to get an away win in Athens. Beautiful second goal by Kurtic. Bizarre "basketball-style steal" (as the commentator described it) by Pashalakis towards the end there. Had he made contact with the player, would that have been a penalty?
  4. Owners must like consistency. Can't screw that up by actually winning a game! I am more of a pessimist and think Tzolis and Giannoulis will find themselves sidelined and then cut. I did notice in last weekend's game (a loss) they were on the bench. To anyone who actually pays attention to Norwich: did Farke lose faith in them? Were they that bad?
  5. Currently up 0-1 due to an own goal. Does that One channel have a live stream? I couldn't find one on their site
  6. Considering that scoring many goals may be enough to get us through in first place, a win is basically mandatory. If this was the national team, I know they would play for a draw. PAOK might actually try though
  7. And for a price that undercuts a handful of the guys from Lucescu's last run. I'd say more than fair deal for us.
  8. I think some of these decisions are getting kind of easy, huh? Ones I want: Ingason - must-keep Sidclay - I'd try to keep him, but we need a second pure LB as well Once I don't: Lyratzis - if he hasn't clicked with any coaches so far, then he won't. Release him, unfortunately Paschalakis Crespo Varela Biseswar Kagawa Vieirinha Akpom - I like him but there will probably not be room after Oliveira returns. If we get an offer for Swiderski, then I'd keep him Average age of the team is set to drop a lot on July 1st, at least!
  9. Could have won that game, and by a wide margin. Here are the tie breaking criteria per Wikipedia. We are exactly tied with Copenhagen in 1 through 3, and I assume we can skip number four. We are now one down on them in total goal difference (#5), so we need to score a ton of goals over these next two games (or hope Copenhagen drops any points). This is assuming we win both our remaining games, of course. Points in head-to-head matches among the tied teams; Goal difference in head-to-head matches among the tied teams; Goals scored in head-to-head matches among the tied teams; If more than two teams were tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams; Goal difference in all group matches; Goals scored in all group matches; Away goals scored in all group matches; Wins in all group matches; Away wins in all group matches; Disciplinary points (direct red card = 3 points; double yellow card = 3 points; single yellow card = 1 point); UEFA club coefficient.
  10. So far the rhythm of the game has been 100% exactly the mirror of the last game.
  11. The Arabic stream is hilarious. The guy takes so long to finish a word that he's forgotten a few names mid-yell. Ziv..... uh... kovic!
  12. For me, Taylor + Murg + Akpom should come on...
  13. Looking forward to a third-placed finish, then ?
  14. A draw vs Copenhagen followed by two wins by us means we end this in first place, right?
  15. Looks like the guess was right (though the team's lineup transposes El Kaddouri and Biseswar). Either way I'm not worried about the attackers...just Crespo and Vieirinha!
  16. InPAOK is predicting the below lineup. That defense is gonna be shaky AF --Pashalakis-- --Crespo--Michailidis--Mihaj--Vieirinha-- --Schwab--Kurtic-- --Zivkovic--El Kaddouri--Biseswar-- --Swiderski--
  17. Another day, another Kagawa rumor (or three): https://inpaok.com/706637/to-mls-koita-kagkava/
  18. Three weeks for Augusto. Good thing Kurtic is back
  19. I'm pleased but surprised. I didn't think Lucescu really rated him (though this might not have been his doing). I'm saying this even though I know Lucescu said nice things about him at the press conference earlier, haha There are also reports that Ingason is "meeting again" with the club shortly regarding a renewal. A few days ago there were articles about Kagawa being linked with some team in Japan, for as soon as this December. Let 'im go!
  20. Their away goal vs us was a PK, and it has bothered me for four years.
  21. Gonna have a few PKs against us then, huh
