PAS managed to make us look like fools, and I believe precipitated our decline at the beginning of the second half of the season. Call me gunshy.

Veria currently 3-0 up vs Asteras Tripolis (who is also playing with 10 men). About a half hour to go in the match.

There are a few more match weeks left. We can still hope to gain enough points on them that we end up with an extra point to start the play offs with. Although I think it would require three consecutive losses on their part (and wins for us) for that to happen.

Panthrakikos is currently up 1-0 vs Panathinaikos, with half the match played. A loss for PAO will leave us in second place by 1 point. A draw, will keep as at third place (on goal differential).

Our under-18 team should be able to beat Kerkyra. Goal from Kace, from a free kick. Up 0-1 with 6 minutes to go.

Poor match so far. Our closest chance was a breakaway by Pereyra, where he aimed about 10 feet to the right of net. Tzavellas or Kace look ripe for a straight red, judging by their challenges.

Klopp is out at the end of the season. Wonder what will happen with Sokratis (esp since so many of their players are rumored to leave).

Georgiadis, being an interim manager, will hopefully not have that much of a say in Papagiannopoulos' staying. Maartens and Maduro were Stevens' men, it's not surprising that once he was gone, they had no urge to perform for the team. Maduro will surely be angling to leave, now that he's not frozen out of a team and can get game time (when he's not injured).

I think we already talked over my one qualm, but I love typing, so here it is again - What I had heard, was that Lucas essentially refused to play for a no-name coach with a bunch of youngsters. The loan was a way to get an unhappy player off our books, and the extension of his contract was so that we could at least make a few bucks on the deal. I thought he was a fine player, and would have been a massive help this year (Mak on one wing, Lucas on the other - would have looked great IMO)... But do we really want a guy who doesn't want to be there?
