  1. Didn't think about it that way...
  2. Don't worry, after a few days you're able to sit comfortably again.
  3. I have no opinions of any sort.
  4. It's looking like Golasa really is back. PAOK24 is calling it a "second chance" after discussions between his agent and Arnesen/Jackie-boy. Good on him, I thought he was a decent option who didn't get enough chances. http://www.paok24.com/podosfairo/50562/deuteri-eukairia-tountor-se-gkolasa
  5. Welcome (back)!!
  6. I have repeatedly told you to cut it off. But noooo
  7. We'll be too tired to fight back from so many European matches.
  8. Here's the schedule. December 10th might actually be doable for me...eeek!
  9. Correct, he's currently injured.
  10. You're right, our team *always* wants to play in Europe. Which is a positive thing, of course. I'll repeat what I said in the other match thread (because I love hearing myself talk) - Tudor is, I think, going to much more capable of tackling these international teams than he will with the leoforeia he'll be encountering here. I hope he relishes the chance to go up against Dortmund in particular. Toumba's going to be absolutely rocking for this, though.
  11. Two seasons ago, we had a great two matches vs Schalke. If our guys play without fear and with at least a little belief, we'll have a great few matches. Realistically, if we grab even a point out of either match, it might be enough to bring us to the second round. A note - once the transfer window ends, this is it for us. Tudor needs to be ready for these matches. These are the only chance he'll get to play interesting games vs opposition that wants to actually play ball. I'd go so far as to say he should have the opposite mentality of PAO, who seems to hate the idea of playing in Europe.
  12. Looks like Boakye might be tenuous - his club is asking for more money. It would be amateurish of us to break the bank on someone who was probably our fourth choice - I say Arnesen work on signing someone who'll make an impact in December. Start playing Klaus paired with Koulouris, mix in Jairo every few matches to rest one of them. Simple. We're not winning the league, after all.
  13. I think he's currently still injured, the timing is pretty unfortunate
  14. If I may? --Karnezis-- --Papastathopoulos--Papadopoulos--Manolas-- --Kitsiou--Tachtsidis--Samaris--Holebas-- --Fortounis-- --Karelis--Mitroglou-- I've been against a 3-CB back line for a while, but Tudor has convinced me with PAOK - especially if Holebas doesn't have to defend as much.
  15. I think Korovesis might surprise us on the left too - he's been good each time he's played. Hopefully we'll be able to make deep runs into the cup and EL, it would be a real krima if so many interesting players go unused.
  16. Should be soon, we already know the Champions League fixtures. Match days are 9/17, 10/1, 10/22, 11/5, 11/26, 12/10. Coworkers are already telling me I should go to Dortmund for that match. I like that idea. Never gone to an away Europa League game before though - what's the process like for tickets? I'm sure we'll sell out our allotment.
  17. Hah, called it
  18. Stream: http://live.realstreamunited.com/static/freepopups/311272939385780.html Lots more available on bianconero -edit- this is also streamed on uefa's own site: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/season=2016/draws/round=2000658/drawcentre/index.html#
  19. Dortmund is gonna be a rough match...
  20. Kitsiou and Tziolis have been called up to the NT. I believe this will be Kitsiou's first call-up? Very pumped about Stelios making it there. It was written in the ethniki thread that Torosidis is suspended due to an accumulation of cards; it seems that Kitsiou's biggest competition for that spot now is Vyntra. Surely Tsanas won't play him over Kitisiou? Who am I kidding, this is a foregone conclusion. Anyway - the kid definitely has what it takes. Strong, fast, loves getting forward. Can defend better than Holebas. Would probably take a few caps before he is settled down and comfortable though; something tells me people will get impatient.
  21. Kitsiou would absolutely kill it, if it weren't for the fact that he's never been called up and is therefore completely unfamiliar with his teammates, their tactics, etc. If we use a 3-5-2, he would be like a Holebas that can defend. Just don't play him on the left, Tsanas... This is true. We're already starting to see a new generation come out, and we have 2.5 years to get our team together. The way forward is obvious.
  22. I voted for Jairo, Cimirot would be my guess for second-best. It seems Jairo is hungrier and he's been impressive the few times I've seen him play. Charisis might be *very* good, but I have a feeling that his chance to be noticed was two months ago. Tudor had said that he was meant to be selected in that original starting lineup (over one of Tziolis or Pelkas I'd assume, probably Pelkas). Now he's injured, and I have no idea how often we'll see him play. Hopefully I'm wrong on that.
  23. Of course he's using it as a resume-builder - he's practically a kid. The philosophy that applies to the players we buy, extends to the coach as well. We just have to trust that Arnesen sees that, and that the desire to show what he can do will lead to successes.
  24. Sure did, he's back too
