Courtois was allowed to play vs Chelsea in that champions league final. I believe UEFA had to announce beforehand that the non-compete clauses in these contracts were invalid. However, this was a high profile case, and I would bet that nobody would enforce it if PAOK did try to do it. It would really suck if we do loan him out, only to cop a few from him. Would be just like us.

It speaks volumes about his desire and ambition. He should not be called up until he gets a real job. If Messi spent a year bumming in Myanmar, there is a good chance he'd be benched too.

I wonder if pace is our only trick? Part of the plan Arnesen seems to want to put together, is to form a team of young people who play with a certain style, a la Dortmund when they began their resurrection. Perhaps he forgot that other teams watch tapes, and can adapt?

Are there any online calculators or spreadsheets we can fiddle with? Below shows a rundown of how many points have been gained. Greece at 19th, just under the mighty Cyprus. Switzerland has only snagged 1.3 points towards their rating (if I'm reading this right), we might just be able to leapfrog them. We were really hurting without him last match, we should def play him. I'm guessing Klaus is just not match fit, and not injured again? Any idea as to how Charisis is doing?

Qose is going on loan to Panserraikos for the season, same as Papadopoulos. Hopefully he does well there. Lots of good bougatsa in Serres.
