  1. Giannou is not as good as Aravidis, who is himself at NT level. Nuff said. *edit - NOT at NT level.
  2. Remember folks...AEK is not "mpaok". They have a very heavy jersey.
  3. Attendance was certainly not pathetic for those friendlies.
  4. In other words, if Olsen does make it there, it might give us just enough money to replace him. How deliciously ironic.
  5. Absolutely. Lucas declined heavily towards the end of the season (remember the rumors that he was afraid of big games and couldn't show up, which is why Stevens wasn't playing him?). It's part of the reason Vukic got so much playing time as the season ended, in spite of his age.
  6. Wasn't he the one that said "even if you have a great season in Greece, nobody will notice because nobody watches the league" ? Good riddance. PAOK was only ever a rehab center for him.
  7. That would be a good match. I think you mean "Austria." People misspell that all the time.
  8. What do you get the man who has everything?
  9. I'm sure that's the last time we'll see this trio. Tsanas probably played them because he figured he may as well throw something random together. And will probably recommend Lazaros as LW, Aravidis as RW, and Samaris as AM.
  10. I don't know if I'd agree. He was good vs Dortmund, but I very often see him playing the most inexplicably bad passes. I still cringe whenever he moves forward, as he looks worlds apart from our attacking players in skill and style. But, he was consistently decent last season up until December, and hasn't been completely awful this year. I do think we'll see a repeat of what happened last time around, though. I can only hope Cimirot or Antonis stay healthy and competent, for when the time comes.
  11. Tziolis was playing GK, right?
  12. Perhaps he was chosen by Tsanas ;)
  13. Below is a link to a very interesting article, framed through a view of Shakhtar's youth setup (among many, many more things). Somehow I doubt we're this organized. http://victoryjournal.com/stories/the-boys-from-donetsk Is this our future? The poorer Greece gets, the more attractive these opportunities look.
  14. Make that 0-4
  15. 0-3 Portugal
  16. U21s are playing a EURO U21 qualifier vs Portugal in about 45 minutes (at home). Hopefully there will be a stream for this. I haven't yet found a lineup.
  17. Contingent on other results, we may be rising to the high 30s (from our current ranking of 44).

I wonder what Magath's thoughts on the healing potential of kefalotiri are.
  20. It's up to them to take his spot. If they don't end up starting over him, then I guess I'll have to accept that he's really the best we have.
  21. Mak starting again for Slovakia, this time vs Luxembourg. Good luck to them.
  22. Now's the time to do it. The senior team played vs Ivic's U20s the other day. Deligannidis played for both sides, taking over for Leovac with the seniors in the second half. Would doubt that we'll see either of them in the match. Antonis did play the whole 90, which is good. Glykos and Cimirot were both training individually, so my condolences to Boston Thanatos, as this implies to me that Glykos is going to be injured. Skondras also is ill; who knows if he'll be ready to play on the 18th. My guess: --Olsen-- --Vitor--Costa--Tzavellas-- --Rodrigues--Antonis--Kace--Jairo-- --Mak--Pelkas-- --Klaus-- *edit - let's be honest, I just like posting lineups. #cantgetenough
  23. Is he who is insisting on Tsanas as assistant, as well?
