    So apparently Mak hasn't been able to find a club willing to pay him a million. My guess is we're also not willing to do that, but if we were to offer him something like...750k, perhaps he'd make a quicker decision. inPAOK seems to think that he'll re-sign this summer with us if he's unsuccessful. I VERY MUCH hope that we keep him.

    I figured that if we did sell him, we'd try to do what we did with Lucas and keep him until qualification (one way or another). Of course, if any potential buyers are also in European competition, this would bode poorly for his availability to us.

    I'm referring to Messi's PK record, and his insistence on taking them is similar to Ronaldo's insistence on taking free kicks.

    Messi misses 22% of PKs (which is actually worse than Ronaldo). But, just like Ronaldo with free kicks, he still takes them in these vital situations. Why? Ego. He's not a martyr, and there's really no need to make excuses for his failure rate. If he wants to stop playing for his NT, then he can stop that too. He doesn't owe anyone. If his teammates want him back bad enough, they can drop to their knees and ask nicely, too.
