  1. Here's the press conference (for some reason I can't find it on youtube yet):
  2. Georgiadis just signed with Limassol. Good luck to him
  3. For this one, I think we can take advantage of our lead and get a few different faces in earlier... --Glykos-- --Matos--Crespo--Tzavellas--Leovac-- --Canas--Biseswar--Shakhov-- --Campos--Pereyra--Rodrigues-- If Campos and Rodrigues play poorly, slip in Mistakidis and one of either Jairo or Pelkas. Canas, Biseswar, and Pereyra all look like they deserve a start to me.
  4. Vitor started today vs Celtic, was subbed out after 74 minutes. They won 2-0, but lost 4-5 on aggregate. A shame, Celtic is very beatable.
  5. Do you recall what we bought Sabo for? I remember it was supposed to be some sort of club record, but considering where we got him from, that might not be saying much.
  6. Maduro probably won't be continuing at his current club. Not good enough. That pleases me.
  7. Shakhov called up for Ukraine vs Iceland
  8. Now rumors of Everton being interested in Lucas, which would net us 5mm EUR. I am doubtful.
  9. vs MATCHUP: P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki - FC Dinamo Tbilisi COMPETITION: Europa League - Qualifting Round 4 - Leg 2 DATE: 25-August-2016 TIME: 21:00 GR (18:00 GMT, 13:00 CDT, 06:00 AEST next day) CITY/STADIUM: Thessaloniki - Toumba Stadium (28,703) REFEREES: Harald Lechner - Andreas Heidenreich, Maximillian Kolbitsch (Austria) TELEVISION: Novasport 1
  10. Weird, it was here before the switch. I'll start one shortly. Might have gotten lost during the upgrade.
  11. Michel seems smarter than I gave him credit for. Seemed to pick up decent free agents, gives the axe to people like Golasa and Antonis, cuts loose dead weight like Tziolis. Let's see how we look after a few months of regular season play.
  12. Glykos, Tzavellas, and Tziolis have been called up to the NT Staf too -edit- additional call-ups below: Varela + Rodrigues called up for Cape Verde (playing Libya), Cimirot called up for Bosnia (vs Estonia) I'm very glad to hear Cimirot was called up. Their midfield is stacked, says a lot that they'd bring him back in.
  13. Kace has re-signed through 2019, and is off to join the Czechs. Not sure if there is a buy-out clause, etc.
  14. Season ticket availability has been extended to September 2nd. Doesn't seem the 11k number quoted above has changed.
  15. A new name I'm seeing: http://www.transfermarkt.com/jean-christophe-bahebeck/profil/spieler/164897 (PSG) Seems fast. Not the most impressive stats.
  16. Hey, man, Marinakis is totally chill with Ethnikos Piraeus using their stadium.
  17. Looks good to me, thank you
  18. Just one thing so far - the toggle for email notification of direct messages has been locked to "on" by admin. Can we disable this?
  19. APOEL interested in Chatziisaias, Apollon Limassol interested in Skondras Apparently every team in the Greek speaking world is linked to Tziolis. AEK, Panathinaikos, APOEL, Atromitos. I think half of them have issued denials already.
  20. Extended highlights of the match: Sideline camera clips from the team:
  21. The friendly vs Xanthi ended 0-0, here's some highlights:
  22. Slightly greater likelihood of the northerly wind, might make those opening matches cooler
  23. I honestly don't think it's that much of a problem. Cimirot and Canas play the same position, so when we're not planning on being super defensive we won't need to have them both on the field at the same time. Charisis can sub in as a DM when needed (and I DEFINITELY rate him), and it sounds like Ivic has been trying Korovesis out in that position as well (God help us).
  24. I agree. I also doubt that they haven't made any moves behind the scenes. A similar thing happened with Michel before the season ended - multiple deals were ready to sign before they went to Holland. I just wonder if there will be any surprises (maybe regarding Pelkas?).
