I got a message about the site being down for maintenance just as yesterday's PAOK match was starting, but everything straightened out pretty quick. Just popped in here to rub it in everyone's faces.

I don't see why that wouldn't be genuine. Why wouldn't he want to play more?

The stream I'm on has very poor audio, did I just hear them saying that Varela is warming up? Seems an odd choice.

These guys aren't much of a challenge, which is great news. Should be able to safely put in some of the new blood with less pressure, especially if we score another one or two. Biseswar really getting pushed around out there.

Hey man, there were nine hours between there. Besides, it was a slow day at work.

We apparently signed an 18-year-old from Schalke's youth squad, named Giannis Tsingos. He's a winger and SS who was born in Germany, and will be playing for our U20 side.

Hopefully they lose their next six or seven league matches ;)

You're saying this like I don't watch every game. He's playing LW only because we do not have a better option there right now. There are two new LWs incoming, so I wouldn't expect him to play there much after he returns. Did he do well in getting ahead of their defenders there? Absolutely. But you're missing the point of my argument - he's not appreciably better than another player, who spends more of his time playing in a position that Greece needs filling. Which is not to say I don't like Pelkas. I think he's the bee's knees. Hopefully in the next year or two, BOTH of those players will be no-brainer starters for PAOK. The Ethniki, meanwhile, is utterly dysfunctional and won't call either of them up until they're in their mid-30s.

What did you think of that last run by their striker, where he was tripped? Couldn't tell if he was just outside of the box, they only replayed it once. Surprisingly good youtube stream.
