  1. Just saw this on Sport24. Spitting distance from 11th. Olympiakos dropped points today, but PAO and PAOK won. Right now, Olympiakos looks like it will comfortably make it to the play offs (likely seeded), and Panathinaikos is a little more comfortable in their position than we are as well (their last game is against Dinamo Minsk. We have a decent chance of having all three teams make it into their respective play offs. Norway has Molde just out of the play offs for conference league (I think they need to win vs Mlada Boleslav to get in). Bodo Glimt will definitely be in the playoffs for Europa League, and probably will be seeded. They play Maccabi and Nice, who hopefully will take some more points off them in these last games. 10. Turkey 40,750 - 7,150 (4/5) 11. Norway 34,000 - 6,125 (2/4) 12. Greece 33,750 - 7,125 (3/4) 13. Austria 33,725 - 7,125 (4/5) 14. Switzerland 32,450 - 5,875 (3/5) 15. Scotland 32,300 - 6,000 (3/5) 16. Denmark 32,137 - 5,812 (2/4) 17. Israel 31,625 - 2,875 (1/4) 18. Poland 30,875- 7,625 (2/4) 19. Croatia 26,525 - 5,375 (1/4) 20. Serbia 24,675 - 2,900 (2/5)
  2. Yeah we won't get any help from them. Even with wins by them we should still be in 22nd place. Incidentally, Slavia Prague is in a not hugely dissimilar position from us after last match day - a win vs us and then again vs Malmo on the last match day should bring them into the play offs. So this next game needs to be taken just as seriously as this one. Surprisingly, we might even have a chance at being seeded in this draw, if we win both of these games. We're level on points with Real Sociedad right now, but they have a game in hand. Not gonna hold my breath here. Anyway, a thought - over the past month Ozdoyev has looked very good. I remember a few months ago that the PAOK Today guys were saying that in other seasons, had we picked up someone like Ozdoyev we would have thought him the "bam" signing. Of course, his performances over the first year did not live up to that. But I'm going from thinking he's a cut-rate Schwab to thinking of him more as a Mauricio, believe it or not.
  3. Might be the best performance I've seen from Zivkovic in over a year. Going well so far, 45 to go
  4. Sounds like Vida will miss the first game. Out for three weeks.
  5. Big fan of that guy's first name!
  6. As the commentator said, the pair of the game were Konstantelias and their goalie. Obviously we'll now more to acquire that guy. Perhaps PAOK can sell a service to GKs to make them look like absolute gods right before a transfer window? They do seem to play out of their minds when they come up against us.
  7. Very harsh second yellow for my namesake...
  8. Mildly amusing, but this does remind me - didn't we have a season a while back where a right-back was our top scorer for most of the year? I wanted to say maybe it was Giannis Skondras, but transfermarkt says he only scored twice for us. https://inpaok.com/845648/o-baba-apektise-sygkatoiko/ I know the obvious choice is to say Matos, but I think his goal scoring was overshadowed by you-know-who for most of his time with us.
  9. This one hurts 😭 https://inpaok.com/845480/sygkinitiko-antio-tou-mystakidi-sto-podosfairo/ Ahhh what might have been!
  10. ^ there he is! Such a shame that we didn't bring more youth players here for this. Annoyed I missed most of the Kottas minutes. Does this game prove that Tissoudali should be played as a winger?
  11. Katsouranis will be in his element
  12. Missed the first 25 minutes of the second half because I was receiving my year-end review. Don't worry Blackhawk, I am not fired. But pretty upset I saw Tissoudali rise from the ashes -edit- pretty upset I didn't see him rise from the ashes. I would never wish ill of daddy Tarik!
  13. Aren't Murg, Konstantelias, Thomas, and Chalov all on the bench? Feels like we have plenty of options there.
  14. Hahahaha it's so easy for teams to score on us -edit- scorer has an absolutely FANTASTIC first name. Should have been a monk: https://www.transfermarkt.us/ierotheos-dritsas/profil/spieler/905209
  15. Tissoudali with a fully alive baby at his feet!
  16. Love our little baby boy!
  17. I will drop kick a baby if Samatta starts. He shouldn't even be in the same country at this point. Otherwise, my lineup is basically yours. Not really concerned with who gets the start at CF - I can see a good reason for any of those guys to play. Would like to see Kottas get some time as a sub, though. We are desperately in need of more Greek players in the first team. Maybe he'll earn an elevation for next season.
  18. We basically need two wins out of these last three games to get to the play offs. Definitely possibly, but we'll also probably get smoked if we DO make it to the play offs. Europa League competition is much, much harder than Conference League - imagine the massacre if we had made it to the Champions League!
  19. Those last few minutes, I was absolutely certain they'd score on us. Honestly we were much better than them for most of the match. But yet again, we lost confidence in those last 15 minutes. A shame.
  20. Karetsas wants us as badly as Diddy wants to party
  21. Here's the lineup: I was so close it hurts!
  22. I guess some storm action went down overnight. Here's a link to PAOK Today:
  23. He'll get straight into the senior setup once PAOK buys him (after selling Konstantelias, of course) and he scores 30 goals in a season for us.
  24. Surely Despodov starts on the right. I'm guessing Taison is doubtful for this weekend. Michailidis had some minor sprain (which is why he came off yesterday), so probably won't be risked either. Here's my guess: --Kotarski-- --Sastre--Colley--Lovren--Baba-- --Ozdoev--Schwab-- --Despodov--Murg--Konstantelias-- --Chalov--
  25. Ahh our traditional game that takes place on the US's Thanksgiving holiday. Thank goodness Paramount+ has the match replays. Anyway - the result was the expected one, which is good. For once we managed an early goal, which obviously helped a lot. I don't think we were pushed all that hard, to be honest. Very, very happy Chalov scored - and his scream as he celebrated was great to see. This guy wants it, for sure.
