  1. That was pressure for Filippidis ! He is still alive for a medal.
  2. In order for Greece to stay in second place, Greece can only lose by 1 goal and for Bosnia to beat Gibraltar by 3 goals or less. This is why in a match like this, Greece must avoid losing
  3. Milan Trajkovic of Cyprus won the heat with an impressive 7.56 (2nd best overall), just 3/10 of a second in front of Orlando Ortega of Spain. :o
  4. This is BS, Pesiridou finished 8th overall in the semifinals with a time of 8.10 but doesn't go to the finals just because she finished 5th in the heat, but Kallur goes to the finals with a time of 8.12 (9th best overall) and finished 4th in her heat. Top 8 with the best time should be competing in the finals.
  5. Papachristou qualified for the finals with a measurement of 14.12 m Pesiridou reached the semifinals with a time of 8.08
  6. Olympiakos cannot perform like this against Besiktas or else they will destroy us.
  7. Stefanidi, obviously yes and could win gold (even less than 4.90 m). No one is a real threat only Ryzih and Bengtsson are the good ones in the pool. Papachristou may win gold if Mamona or Gerrish don't jump better than 14.75 m. Filippidis is an enigma, he can be good or he could fail badly. My high hopes is on Karalis and he is just 17.
  8. Same, maybe three depending if our young Greek pole vaulter Karalis may impress us since his world jr. record he shattered in Athens.
  9. List of Greek athletes to participate in Belgrade MEN'S Pole Vault Kostas Filippidis Emmanuel Karalis Shot Put Michali Stamatoyiannis WOMEN'S 60 m hurdles Elisavet Pesiridou 60 m Rafailia Spanoudaki-Hatziriga Pole Vault Ekaterini Stefanidi Triple Jump Paraskevi Papachristou
  10. Besiktas will be a little bit tougher than Osmanlispor, we believe we have what it takes to knock them out.
  11. I love this draw simply because Olympiakos seems to play real hard against Turkish clubs lol
  12. Olympiakos will need to stay away from Manchester United, Roma, and Lyon. If Olympiakos draw with APOEL again, I think this time Olympiakos will take care of them.
  13. Round of 16 drawing will be tomorrow 13:00 local time Olympiakos will be pitted against one of the following 15 clubs remaining. Ajax (Netherlands) APOEL (Cyprus) Anderlecht (Belgium) Besiktas (Turkey) Celta Vigo (Spain) Genk (Belgium) Gent (Belgium) Kobenhavn (Denmark) Krasnodar (Russia) Lyon (France) Manchester United (England) Monchengladbach (Germany) Roma (Italy) Rostov (Russia) Schalke (Germany)
  14. Osmanlispor 0 Olympiakos 3 feel the pain Ottomans! Hahahaha
  15. Schalke "fans" are just a bunch of bandwagoners. Oh, and those fake Skopjani flags, they really took it too far.
  16. At least PAOK ended their European campaign on a high note :)
  17. The result is good for Greece in terms of coefficient points.
  18. Good win for you guys, AEK played better and wanted this game more than Olympiakos.
  19. AEK needs this win to stay alive for the playoffs, Olympiakos can afford to lose this match.
  20. Does anybody know if they are showing the European Indoor Championship in Belgrade on a U.S. network?
  21. Looks like I will not watch the second match since PAOK is already finished after the 2nd goal.
