Ellas75 this time I am sceptical, don't think anyone will go especially with the petty things being thrown around by both sets of fans, it will be dangerous and they will target any Greek they see. Would be good if they do though but these Bosnians wont forget what happened at the last game. Andriotis, Crete wouldn't be a bad idea. I have seen people say play in Larisa but Larisa doesn't have an airport nearby and the closest one is 70km away so not very ideal. They can always go back to OAKA even though the stadium will look like an AEK match with the crowds we have been getting of late.

Kala its a known fact Hakoah are FC's little sister team, I don't see them going for A League since FC is there for them.

Why wouldn't they want to go and support their NT? These guys went last time and everything was fine for them. But now with the s%$#! that these idiots did with the banner and Serb flag they have put a target on every Greek fan wanting to go Bosnia. Faros are mostly elderly people, few young also and they attend every Greek match home & away, I give these guys massive respect for the support they give Greece. The president also have a museum in Crete for the Greek Football team and its a very nice museum also and from memory its the only one that exists in Greece.

Great new about the AGM and finally its been a long time. I do hope these people on the board have genuine interests in the club and not just themselves. I do agree with what you said about Souths, they have everything in order, Olympic isn't too far behind but need more proper organisation within the whole club. If Tempe goes through that will be massive, the ladies teams aren't that bad either and youth usually go well in their age groups.

That's the problem OH these people only come out when it benefits them and their pockets, why don't they come out and do their part now? They are trying to get the $7mill for Tempe which hopefully they do get as its a good facility they're trying to build out there. Now they have issues with Belmore & the Bulldogs. They haven't had an AGM in years (please correct me if im wrong as last I heard it still hadn't happened) I love Olympic, but the one thing iv always hated is the people who get on board level only ever care for their pockets and hardly veer care for development. I wont even bother going into the "pay for your son to play" or the "how much sponsorship can you give to guarantee your kids spot" but in fairness this doesn't only happen at Olympic it happens everywhere.

I know the guys who were attacked personally and they are a great bunch of guys who support Greece in EVERY game they play whether it be a friendly or a qualifying match, what these guys did to them is a F***en disgrace. Taso (trumpet man) has been in football for over 40 years playing the trumpet for PAOK and the NT since 2004. Nikos Flekkas (president) is a good guy and loves the NT, he also has the only Greek NT football Museum in Crete. It obvious it was Oly fans who did this, there were fans in there chanting Oly and bagging Tzavellas, they also think the reason why they went for the trumpet was because of the train incident between Oly and PAOK fans last week. Greeks need to put their club s%$#! aside when the NT plays but sadly I don't think that will ever happen.

I personally cant see any of the Sydney teams of the NSL days being able to play in the A League now. They may think they can but reality is they just don't have the backing and finances for it. Iv said it for years if any NSL team was able to get an A League licence South Melb or Melb Knights should be the teams to get it as they both have very good set ups.

We CANT go to Belgium with the same style we are playing as we will get raped. Skibbe needs to change things, especially our middle I really don't see how Maniatis and Samaris (if they both start) will handle the Belgium midfield, they will over power us big time. I think Sokrati/Manolas can do a good job on Lukaku, but lets not forget Hazard is in amazing form right now so Toro (if he starts at RB) will have another tough day marking him, then you got De Bruyne to watch, Belgium are a danger all over the park, I honestly cant see us even getting a draw there but I hope Greece prove me wrong.

Bananas no I don't see a Greek team if you mean that getting into the A League from Sydney, Olympic are a F***en mess, they cant get their s%$#! together in NPL1 how they gona do it in A League? Personally I cant see it happening. Only way I can see Olympic getting back in is under another franchise with their people being the backers. GreekLunatic, very good point about fans not only being Greek, as I have heard this also. Souths would get easily 10k at every home game there is no doubting that, you will have a few drop off from Victory & City and there are plenty of fans who don't go to games anymore but with Souths back they would all come out again. Question is though, will their bid really be looked at in full and given a fair chance?

I don't agree with what 30 dumb ass Greek fans did at the game with the banner and Serb flag, they aren't football fans and they don't belong in the stadiums. These people who do s%$#! like this don't realise the dangers they put other fans when they want to travel and see their NT play. Now any Greek who goes to the game in June will be a target.

This would be great if it was allowed to go ahead, South Melbourne should be in A League but that ethnic background wont help their cause.

They will make it very hostile for the players, their fans really shouldn't bag the Greeks as they didn't act any better last time we went there. Some had a Turkish flag outside their apartment block facing the Greek fans, so as dumb as our fans can be with the things they do, their fans aren't angels either.

Some good points there TG7 and I agree with most, Serbs are good people from what I have come across. Good and bad in every race. Just with the FYROM issue, we can lay blame on govts and whatever else, but us Greeks have never once said anything in regards to Kosovo (as example) we have ALWAYS known it to be Serbian and have always said it regardless of who's in power in any govt, this is my issue with the Serbs, regardless of who runs the country, regardless of what propaganda can be thrown around the simple fact is it should come to them easily when it comes to the FYROM issue and that is siding with us and not referring to them as Macedonians.

One thing I will give the Serbs credit for is their support for their NT, they put their club s%$#! aside and ALL go support their nation when they're in tournaments, us dumbass Greeks need to learn from that but we are too busy worrying about each club owner and what he is up to than to build a strong fan base and be feared/respected within Europe.....

Fair points you make and I respect them just as you respect mine and we don't have to agree but respect one-another opinion. I may sound like I'm contradicting myself but I wish we had a brotherhood or should I say something more visible as a brotherhood as in the end its the religion that keeps us binded. But there are certain things iv seen from both sides that shows me otherwise. Iv seen on few occasions club fans having Serbian flags with them and also our NT fans with it also (overnight match is a good example) but never once have I seen a group of Serbs with a Greek flag. I do agree with your end part, there are good serbs and bad serbs, just like we have some good greeks and then some cracked ones also lol

I am passionate about this as people are deluded by false facts and this is one of them. Many people say we have a brotherhood but we don't mate. Russia doesn't give a F*** about us, only way they will help Greece is if it benefits them. Serbia the same. Who's arguing? Im only stating facts that you seem to want to challenge and I am happy to debate it with you. Let me ask you this, when did you ever last see a Serbian fan holding a Greek Flag like the way we do for them? And I'm not talking about a Greek and a Serb next to each other, I mean Serbs fans on their own pulling out a Greek flag, I personally haven't seen it at all. As for the Greeks, no I cant speak for every Greek but since I just got back from Greece and was there for a while I saw enough and heard enough from bar owners, beach bar owners, people on the streets and restaurant owners who would constantly slag the Serbs who were on holidays in Greece. They honestly don't see them as "brothers" the way us Aussies and Americans like to say....
