As for up top word here is Bakasetas will start up top. Behind him will be Mandalos, Patito and Lazaros which is a great 3 to have, they can hurt Oly on the break. Defence isn't a worry as we have been very good there, my only concern is if Ideye starts for Oly Chygrynsky needs to stay on him as I can't see Lescott keeping up with his pace and runs in behind the defence. That was my point above in regards to last season, we were down by 1 and Dellas went for it took out Simeos and it opened us up and we copped another 3. Big mistake if there is any truth to this. Hearing Ketsbaia tried out Simeos Johanssen and Lambro in the middle, I sincerely hope this isn't true no use going defensive against them when they are struggling. After watching Oly play last night we can take them, they have a terrible defence. Only players who we should worry about are Cambiasso,Marin and Ideye the rest are average at best.

Almeida confirmed won't play just now. I'd go with the line up Original21 has above, still a very strong like up which can cause them problems. Our front 4 have speed and creativity to hurt Oly on the break. Mandalos will be targeted no doubt. Their defence for me is questionable especially their CBs so Bakasetas who we all know is AEK to the bone will rise up to this match upfront for us. Getting pumped for this one, considering doing a sneaky and maybe going to the game as I won't see Aek play again due to NT match then leave for Australia.

Almeida isn't 100% but he will surely play against Oly, Mandalos the same they've said. They also released the draw for the reminder of round 1 and most games are Saturday's. This Oly game is very important now not only cause we play them but say we lose,then we got Larisa away after them Panionios at home then we go to PAOK away so we could find ourselves behind the 8 ball early on. Our next few games after the break are very tricky. Only good thing is 2nd round we play all the big teams at home,so we need to get as many points as possible in the derbies away from home, as I said before we need to avoid losing,draws at the least. I agree with the above we don't lack creating chances or playing good football, we lack a very clinical finisher and it showed over the weekend. Also didn't help the way Iraklis sat back and parked the bus. Reports said yesterday we are getting a striker in January so that would be a positive thing but we can't just get anybody he needs to have a good scoring record,simple as that, getting another Chrisantus type will make us a laughing stock,pay the extras or whatever it is and show everyone we mean business. We played at home the result is NOT GOOD ENOUGH if we wana win the title. 3 points are a must at home, away from home you wana avoid losing so a draw would've been good, but this home result is not good enough. Regardless of who was missing we must be able to get the job done in OAKA. Whays everyone's thoughts on the Lazaros penalty claim? Personally I thought it was soft but i saw a photo today and the Iraklis player had his hands all over him, but again Lazaros played at it when really he turned the guy and could've put a ball in. I think the worst moment of the game was the 2nd half when Lazaros dummied the ball for Didac, instead of driving it across goal to Platellas he took that extra touch and God knows what he was thinking with that cross. Starting to lose patience with him very quickly, what's the story with Diaz are we ever going to see him play?

Something smells very fishy about all these results over the weekend.

Che try monoaek.blogspot.gr always works for me. HT 0-0, Pekhart offers nothing. Vargas is frustrating as F*** and his corners have been terrible. Bakasetas is trying but has no forward movement or option in final 3rd. Patito trying but again nothing happening up top. Other than that we are in control but Ketsbaia needs to change something, throw Bakasetas up top is prob the best thing to do. This is not a game to be dropping points especially at home and with top spot up for grabs. I know how important Mandalos is but didn't realise we would miss him and Almeida this much tonight.

We need to F***en win this game tomorrow no excuses. What a shock loss for Oly but F*** em won't be a walk in the park as other years.

We must take advantage of PAOs slip up and to also keep up with Oly.

I won't underestimate Iraklis they played well last week vs Oly. Overall we have options to replace our injuries/rest a few guys for the Oly match. Mandalos we all know does well for us but Bakasetas can play 10 and will be good running at Iraklis defenders. As for Lazaros if he gets 30mins in that will be good then give him a start vs Oly. We will be almost at full strength when we play Oly. I expect Mandalos to also play against them, may be a risk but he will want to play. Will be good to see how Pekhart does up top.

Personally I'd put Bakasetas at #10 or after last weeks performance upfront. Galo also needed 9 stitches for the clash he had with Mandalos, but he should be right to play. Not much said about Lazaros on whether he will start.

Surgery already done took 2 hours, he can train in a week to 10 days with a mask. Touch and go to play against Oly as I'm sure if he does play they target him. They're saying at most 20 days

Oly has a Europa game Thursday against APOEL which won't be easy for them so it could be a reason either way they'll have 3 days recovery to our 5 days. Lets worry about Iraklis first before Oly.

Correct Amo but the Oly game is almost 2 weeks away I think he will be right for it. Either way throw Bakasetas at #10 and we don't have any issues. He is more than capable of doing the job for us but let's see what Ketsbaia has on his mind

F*** spewing it's been rescheduled meant to be going Santorini Monday. Word is Almeida to be rested for Oly and Lazaros to play against Iraklis.

Nothing has been said as yet, hopefully he's fit to get some minutes against Iraklis and then start against Oly as we will need him against them

I'll be at the game and it will be the last game I'll see as there's only Oly away before I leave for back home. Tempted to go Karaiskaki with my cousin as he's the only Oly fan in my family but we will see what happens, will have to wear a jumper there to cover my Aek tat otherwise I won't come out alive haha The boys are playing good football and are in great spirit so we should get the job done at home. Don't see many changes to the lineup, only one maybe Almeida I would say so he's rested for Oly.

What a game!! Bakasetas had a ripper and could've had a hatrick, you could see how much that goal meant to him,we missed too many chances the score should've been 5 or 6. Ketsbaia, the only thing I don't like atm is his idea of closing out the game with 30 mins to go when it's only 1-0. Patito tore them apart today and again be was subbed, I don't get it. Match fitness isn't an excuse if he's giving Lescott 90mins who is nowhere near fit. Overall though this team has me excited and showing signs it can actually mount a title charge to Oly as the players seem in great spirits and we are playing some very good football. Shame about Almeida but was told it was more precautionary, I think he will miss the Iraklis game,just a hunch,time will tell but Bakasetas showed he can do the job up top of needed

We got Iraklis next week so good game for him to get some game time. Hopefully he doesn't get called up to the NT and he can just focus on himself and prepare for the Oly game as that game will be huge.
