Other than that AEK has got all the other licences required, if it was any other Govt in charge the stadium would be on its way I believe. I too have my doubts at times on the stadium, but I will wait until the Mayor is removed and a new one voted in, if nothing changes then well I will give up myself. Meli has said himself without a ground AEK has no melon (future) and he is right 100% on that. I went to OAKA last Sept/Oct to watch games and it was terrible you cant enjoy watching a game being so far away from the field. Really he should've got Rizoupoli as its local and much closer to the field for the fans but for whatever reason he chose to stay at OAKA.

Guys I know most here really rate Platellas but reality is when he is on he can play but he is too inconsistent and his decision making is terrible, I really expected a lot from him but for me he just doesn't cut it as a starting player. I know we have a lack of wingers at the moment and he should be in the squad but he also did have a fall out with Morais before the PAOK match. There was footage shown of the violence at Iraklis last week and pretty sure it was from tv crews. Oly fans have been good, they attacked Bayern fans during the CL match, teamed up with the Serbs and attacked the Croatian fans, attacked PAOK fans getting off the train, attacked families in Filadelphia cafes after they beat PAO in the basketball,last week had fights with Panionios fans at the baksetball but every other team is the issue never Oly. Oly has never once been docked points yet the other big 3 have.

Heard that the A League will expand in 2018-19 BUT they don't want another team that's city located, need to be out of city centre as they don't want fans jumping ship from team to team, not looking good for Souths, hope this info is wrong.
