  1. You guys thought Tudor was a bad coach .
  2. When was the last time we beat a decent European side at home? It's been a while, would have to go back to the Fener, Villarreal games some years ago. Strong sides, we always play as if it's an away game, can't help but be disappointed.
  3. On a one season loan apparently. Quality player.
  4. For all the money that has come in so far from outgoing transfers etc, and all this BAM talk, I find it rather comical that we are yet to settle on a striker. Transfer window is almost over, 'quality' players rarely make a move this late in the transfer window. What do they want, another Berbatov situation(came too late, was never fit)? Makes no sense. I would rather us sign no one else now, we don't need another panic buy.
  5. That's what you get when you insist on having Klaus as your starting striker, he isn't good enough.
  6. 3 times in a row now we have gotten a positive away result in the first leg, only to f**k it up at home. Nothing will ever change with this team. Always choking.
  7. Sheriff, always the Mr know it all. The signings that PAOK have made are really no different to the calibre of the signings the Gaybro make, if you look at the players CV's, so I don't know what your on about. What star signings have you made? Farken no one, a 35 year old Cambiasso? siga re. Shakhov & Matos were part of a team that made a European final 2 years ago, so far better than any Greek team, Djalma & Biseswar come from a league that's of higher quality overall compared to the GSL, much more solid signings compared to last year, when we were getting players from Slovakia, Bulgaria etc.. Not saying the above signings are going to be stars, but PAOK is definitely stronger overall, compared to last season
  8. What is this guys main position? He's not exactly prolific if he plays as a forward... Based on his stats.
  9. With the season we had, who would have thought we'd find ourselves in this position. Just proves how diabolical the play off system is though, even when it does go in your favour. Just fark it off. As for possible opponents, all tough, but with a few decent additions there's no reason we can't frustrate any of them. No Shakhtar Despite our troubles, we still always account ourselves well in Europe against anyone we have played in the past, with Dortmund as recently as this season, we jagged an away win.
  10. PAOK will always be a joke, no two ways about it. A team, that will always be incapable of achieving anything of significance. Same old sh!t every single year... a 'new plan' that couldn't even last a season, nothing will EVER change. Lets just fark Tudor off and bring in Georgiadis again.... same old Sh!t!!!! always!!
  11. 20 years of MELBOURNE CLUB PAOK B)
  12. Apparently Berbatov has been cleared to play in the Europa League! Edit- Well its official. PAOK confirm Berbatov: http://www.paokfc.gr/nea/paiktis-tou-paok-o-dimitar-berbatov/
  13. I think In January, teams are able to make a couple of changes, so he can only play if we make it out of the group stage, we can register him.
  14. Is this a done deal!?!
  15. Rumor has it, that Berbatov has been spotted at Birmingham Airport. Looks like he's going to Aston Villa. As good as he'll be in Greece, I never believed we were truly interested in him, would go totally against our transfer policy thus far.
  16. Regarding Marica, If I'm not mistaken, I think he normally has played more as a second forward, hence no huge scoring seasons. I don't think it would be the worst move, yes we probably needed more of a "killer", however he could work well with Klaus, playing behind him, and Klaus is the type of player he can interchange with. Don't let the lack of goals by Marica put you off, remember Marcus Berg wasn't exactly a goaltzi before he came to Greece, but coming from a much stronger league, Germany(like Marica) he found it easy going in Greece.
  17. You are right Blackhawk. The Russian team has experience from the group stages last season, and they finished 3rd in Russia, no slouches.
  18. I'm pretty excited to see what many of the above players can do, but the early form of the returning Pelkas has me most aroused thus far. I must say though, I think long term if given a fair go at it, the addition of Frank Arnesen could see PAOK reach heights it's never seen. A football department with organisation at all levels. I have a really good feeling about our future, a refreshing feeling I never felt as a PAOK fan.
  19. Ela re Blackhell! Far out it's a while since I've seen that name, I hope you're well re. Phantis back with a bang, it's like a time warp lol.
  20. Mak with 6 goals in Europe already, and we not even in the group stages yet. I think our best goal scorer in the single season in Europe, was Klaus last season with 7.
  21. I think we still need a Toivonen type, other than Klaus, we have no other experienced strikers. If Klaus goes down, who steps in? We only really have Koulouris
  22. The Toivonen rumours keep persisting. Personally I think he would be a great signing, can score goals & is very versatile, being able to play as both an attacking midfielder, as well as a striker. Get it done Frank!!
  23. Welcome Boston!!
  24. I agree, regarding Troisi, not PAOK quality. As to the pending Sabo arrival, I think these are exactly the type of players we should be trying to lure to Greece. Still young, and having something to prove. I read a Slovakian article regarding the transfer, and it had a comment from Sabo, saying that opportunities to come to a team like PAOK do not come up very often. There are plenty of these players out there, where coming to us is still a step up.
