I think it is pretty clear that players like Shakhov, Matos and Hatseridis are not for European games. These are your players who play against the weaker league teams as well as in the cup. In Europe you need speed. The modern wing backs do the whole length of the pitch and while Matos may be able to do that in the Greek league, he certainly cannot do that against teams like Chelsea. I am not saying we would have beaten Chelsea with the correct line up but we would have certainly had better chances with Warda, Biseswar and (perhaps) Pelkas starting. El Khaddouri over Limnios as well wasn't exactly the best option. Unfortunately Lucescu chooses not to explain his actions and leaves everyone to believe that he is not interested in progressing.

The goals against Chelsea are meaningless as the comparison is between us and the two other chancers.

Ο πρώτος είναι για το πρωτάθλημα μόνο (όχι ότι είναι ανίκανος, απλά δεν έχει τα πνευμονία και την ταχύτητα). Ο δεύτερος δεν πρέπει να ξαναπαίξει. Μόνο ο Σαββιδης τον ήθελε επειδή είναι πόντιος. Φοβερη κερκίδα και ξενέρωσα πολύ που δεν μπορούσα να τραγουδήσω!

I had two interviews in London today so I have not been able to focus on the game. Now that I have a small break I can start to get excited. If those idiots decide to bring back the play-offs then I am not watching the Greek league ever again. What a bunch of retards, can they not see that the league is much better without them? What absolute d*ckhead thought about introducing play offs in the first place? If they do reintroduce them then I really hope we win the league this season so that I can finally see my team lift the trophy (under normal league circumstances), with the potential of watching them play in the CL before quietly leaving the scene that is called Greek football. Βρήκα δυο εισιτήρια στην κερκίδα των γηπεδούχων. Επειδή ειναι δίπλα θα προσπαθήσουμε να περάσουμε στην κερκίδα των φιλοξενούμενων. Βέβαια ψιλοκοροϊδευω τον εαυτό μου γιατι ξέρω πολυ καλά οτι κατι τέτοιο είναι πολύ δύσκολο να γίνει στα αγγλικά γήπεδα!

Apparently, PAOK received around 2000 tickets with just over 75% of those going to fan clubs and the remaining being sold to suite and VIP season ticket holders. Although I have been a member of a fan club myself in the past, I feel the situation is now out of hand. PAE PAOK's argument is that people with season tickets should be given priority over others. I can understand this. However even taking people like myself (no season ticket and only watch a couple of games a season) out of the equation, this whole process is flawed. By giving the majority of tickets to fan clubs you are ensuring that a fan with a season ticket in Gate 4 (€100) is guaranteed a ticket over someone who is in Gate 6 (€400-€500). This defeats the argument of prioritising. PAE PAOK asks people to buy season tickets every year. What PAE PAOK is saying is "buy a season ticket but also become a member of a fan club". There is a fan club in virtually every city now.

How nice it is to see fans of other teams expressing their concerns for PAOK. All of you are just itching for that first loss in the league ?
