The referee was dreadful. Obviously EPO have not got the money to hire the services of someone like Borbalan every time and are instead just bringing any man in black over. I am wary of saying he came here with a mission but either way he is terrible.

Agreed. Big rotation needed for this one. We can't take chances with injuries neither can we be sure what traps the EO will be setting with the game with them next week. I can just imagine the referee trying to give another double yellow to one of our players.

Managed to stream the game while driving on the streets of Paris on my girlfriend's mifi. It was all looking simple before the red card (which I think was very harsh). AEK is such a little bitch team. On to the next battle against the cancer of Greek football. We will of course be without Jaba, though I sense a nice comeback from Henrique. Must win game!

Was at work so couldn't watch the game. Giannoulis looks very good, I'm glad we got him back. Not sure about our second penalty and was fairly glad we missed it. Amazing to see Swiderski score and his joy was priceless. Onto the next game against the paper team.

So I just realised that I will miss the games with AEK and Olympiacos due to being in Paris and Dublin respectively. Alas my girlfriend is not yet trained to consider PAOK before making plans. Does anybody know if and where entire games are uploaded?

We are playing better because Akpom plays for the team whereas before Prijo was purely a target man (who nevetheless scored goals). Were you cooking when you wrote this?

Watched the penalties in the game that just finished. Lamia's goalkeeper was an absolute hero. He completely mocked the PAO players who stepped up to take a penalty.

I think 3 years was a little aggressive. 2 years would have been idea (or even 2+1) but I am also happy to see him stay.

The only time matches should have two legs is the semi final (OK, maybe even the quarter final) and definitely not any time before. The cup is supposed to be for the smaller teams to have a run and earn some money while creating the romantic feeling of giant killers. It isn't about the big teams. The way it is now, if any big team slips up then there is always a second chance to make it right (exactly what happened with us). Where is the excitement in that? We have it all wrong in Greece (again).

I agree, he completely skinned the defender. Would still be happy to see him go back to Italy though.
