I obviously meant "well" done. Maybe my phone is telling me something? Yeah Trond Sollied. Like a fish out of water he was at Olympiacos in the Champions league.
-
Week done APOEL. Lol Gersbach and Rosenborg. Remember the early 2000s when Olympiacos couldn't beat them so they decided to hire their coach? Lol
-
Is he really that big?

Ioannis Fetfatzidis ‒ (Now Playing for Aris)
Akritis_1944 replied to js1000's topic in Greek Players Abroad
Good luck to him. The fans clearly like Fetfa. I did like the clip though. -
I doubt climate is a factor why players don't have the success. It's clearly standard of the League in question and the player. Manolas, Sokratis and Kyriako Papa can play I'm any of the top leagues. I don't think I can say that for many of the Greek players.

Giorgos Spanoudakis ‒ (Now Playing for Tilikratis)

Positive news, but as a few people have said on the previous site, I think he chose to play for Greece because the Deutsch stopped showing interest. I could be wrong but I think this is what's happened here. Good luck go him though. -
Mantalos is a lock with Fortounis and Samaria in that midfield.
-
He's worse than Samaras' fitness level.

Pash is the worst!

So who is it? O kyrios Savvas mipos?

All the ties involving the Greek teams are on a knife edge at the moment. AEK needs to win. A goal from St. Etienne means AEK need 2. Good luck. French media saying AEK were very good and it will be tough for STE next week.

UEFA Champions League Qualifiers 2016-2017

Marinakis layed down the law after the match to the players, coach etc. Fair enough as he pays the bills but he's also kind of the problem too. Truth is nothing is lost as they can pinch an away goal or 2. FFS, they beat Arsenal away last season. Also Dinamo too who are a better team than Hapoel. -
Looking at some of the highlights it's really grating to hear the Dutch language. Sounds like a German f***ing a pig. Anyhow, half time. Been here before. I hope PAOK get the job done unlike last time.

St Etienne are the favourites but it will be close. Good luck to the AEK.

Bwahahaha

Rosenborg isn't the Rosenborg of the late 90s early 2000s where Oly couldn't beat them. I think APOEL should get through.
-
I think you'll find that every time someone makes the same flippant and ignorant comment about the standard of the League they end up with egg on their face. E.g. Buononotte, Berbatov, Essien being only 3 examples from last season. No these players didn't set the League on fire. They were quickly gone. So you want to have a think again how Almeida will do?
-
Has all the signs of a dud transfer. I hope I'm wrong. Almeida is physically a big guy. He doesn't have to score 15 or 10 goals (which, judging by his last few seasons he is unlikely to do so at AEK) but if he can hold the ball up and bring in Mantalos, Bakasetas and the wingers then that's how he can contribute.
-
Ajax is the definition of average though so PAOK has as much of a chance now if not a better chance than 6 years ago where they lost on the away goals. Everyone criticises the standard of the Greek League (fairly and otherwise) but the Dutch League has been going backwards for many years now as well. Of all the teams PAOK could have drawn, AJAX are the weakest. They may well say the same for PAOK but I won't be surprised if PAOK get through this tie easily.
-
He had an OK career I guess. Played in the EPL, played and scored in the Champions League. Played and scored in a European Championship and World Cup. Now that he has retired, it's nostalgic that he's playing and scoring in the amateurs too.
-
Shame, as it's only a friendly you would want the toughest test. But yes you're right Robben is fragile. Kyriako will come good.

Pame PAOK!

UEFA Champions League Qualifiers 2016-2017

The recent PAOK central defender Miguel Vitor plays for Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Interesting tie. Whether it's the Israeli or Moldovan Champions Oly should get through. -
Bravo

Yes I actually used the word "preparating". I is a genius.
