  1. Will say my piece on the Turkish situation. I grew up with Turks in Australia right through school. We lived in each other's pockets and have been till now. Been to Turkey from Greece meeting up with one of them and his missus. He came all the way up from smirni in sweltering heat to meet me in instanbul. My take on turkey Phenomenal , the people are fantastic and I was treated very well. We stayed at my mates parents next door neighbours when they used to live in turkey. Treated me like their own son kisses hugs u name it. They have moved on don't be easily swayed the people have moved on. It opened my eyes they are like us and they love Greece and commute their for their summer holidays.Did allot of southern turkey smirni, oludeniz fetiye then boat trip back to Rhodes an amazing 3 weeks in Turkey. Respect his team Gajatasaray and watched the Uefa final with arsenal in a Turkish cafenio was one of the best football experiences ever. Being a crazy Romania fan and idolised gica hagi sealed the deal for me to have a vented interest in galatSaray. There's good and bad everywhere let go of all the nonsense I say football unites people not the other way around

  2. After Greeksoccer.com went down, I sent numerous emails to buy the domain with no reply. This morning I went to GoDaddy.com to see if it was available. It says that the minimum bid was $50,000.00. After a good 15 minutes of laughing my balls off, As I was about to buy a different domain to set up a new forum, I figured I'd check greeksoccer.com's Facebook page, to see if I had access to all their "likes" and friends to recruit users. That's where I saw a message about this forum and figured I'd save myself the aggravation and just join here. How have all you tsoglania been in my absence? It's nice to see a few of you missed me, lol.

  3. Going to start training again with the team within a few days.... Reports are saying that he lost approximately 9-10 lbs within the past 2-3 weeks.... If thats true... thats EXTREMELY unprofessional of him.... who allows themselves to blow up to that size?? Given 3-4 of those lbs probably water weight.... but STILL.... Your getting paid 1.5 million a year... YOUR 33 YEARS OLD... This isn't your 1st rodeo.... Be a professional for crying out loud... lay off the twinkies and chips and eat healthy! Keep your weight stable and focus on your endurance and training.... Now... not only is he losing weight to become fit... but when you lose weight.. the dynamics of your body are off and predisose you to reinjure yourself... ESPECIALLY when you are having abdominal surgery when you use your entire core for soccer practice.... This guy better kill it in the league... b/c right now he's earning a STRAIGHT F.... And before you guys all jump down my throat about judging him on the field... off field work is JUST AS IMPORTANT (If not more important) as ON the field work is

  4. No. It's against the law to speak Greek in Australia. If you do, they sentence you to prison and force you to say "put another shrimp on the barbie" until you're brain is destroyed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXLQwrgAKbA

  5. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mak playing up front. His pace and dribbling will force Brondby to play a deep line. If only his finishing was a little more clinical.

  7. I like what I see with Tudor. A real no-nonsense kind of guy. Maybe a bit over the top, but compared to the Frappe and Tavli fest last year, I'll take it. It all depends if he get's the players on board. Mystakidis saying that he apologized to the coach, and that he agrees with his move is a HUGE step in the right direction. I'm not gonna lie, I wish the whole situation with Pereyra never happened (if that's even the reason he's been left out). Good Luck to our new coach....Let's all support him and his efforts for a stronger and bigger PAOK.

  9. With the Abeid signing, we finally have a midfielder who can step into the box and score. ----------Steele------ --Wemmer-Tavla-Sanchez-Nano-- -----------Essien-------- -----Zeca----------Abeid-- -----------Ninis-------- -------Karelis--Berg----

  10. If he does get called up (and this is the Greece NT with it's bizarre loyalties and selections so not out of the reasons of possibility) then I'd like to see how he performs given that he's 36 with no club and no pre-season. If he gets called up I am shaving my nuts and going Mykonos.

  11. leverkusen lost 1-0 against lazio. papadopoulos mistake led to their goal. he was very poor the whole match and misstimed many situations that led to some 1on1 situations with leno wich he saved. he also looked slow. he and tah arent a good couple yet. tah wasnt much better this match. apart from plating like s%$#! he was a boss in the air. id give him a 4.5 this match. leverkusen scored a goal wich was dissalowed but was onside. alot of work to do for kyriakos and leverkusen. most of leverkusen players didnt really played that good.

  12. I was having a lot of trouble following that, but Tudor was apparently furious enough to nearly throw a bottle at him.
