  1. I was at Toumba yesterday to collect my season ticket and there was a lot of people going in to either collect or buy and there were about 8 people working on the desks with the phones ringing non stop. It was great being back and managed to have a chat with various people with in the club offices and the shop which was great. Interestingly there was a gentleman working in the club shop (who I was talking to about how I became PAOK being from Scotland) and he only had one big tattoo and it was of William Wallace and “Freedom” written across his back haha.

  2. And to think that he barely made it after the two first throws which were fouls. Thankfully he cracked the top 8 with his third throw in order to continue and have the big one in the 4th throw. Kokhans throws were all over 80 meters.

  3. The guy played 4 years for REAL, has 100 matches in Champions League and Europa League combined. He's coming in as a free transfer, with a relatively low salary (Imagine calling 750K a low salary for PAOK 10 years ago). He's exactly the type of player that could come to Greece and excel. He was a great player for REAL, but he was very injury prone, and then he was competing with MArcelo for a job....good luck with that. It was all down hill after that. He went to Sporting on loan, and then took a pay cut to go to Rio Ave. All in all, I don't have any HUGE expectations, but will not be surprised if he finds a new confidence in Greece. With Giannoulis on the squad, and Vieirinha on deck come December, I think it's fairly low risk high reward scenario. Interesting article with some good info on the player: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2793704-real-madrid-transfer-news-fabio-coentrao-speaks-after-blancos-exit Also here is a page with multiple articles on the player from the past year....including the time he pulled down Samaras shorts during a match for not helping him up off the ground: https://en.as.com/tag/fabio_coentrao/a/

  5. Samaris, and Tzioli$ are plodders, looking for the coins they dropped on the pitch. Not going to break a game open or save a situation. Siopis and Zeca play like someone is trying to steal their girlfriends and are right in the thick of the action. I prefer the latter two. Actually, I prefer a Latte!

  7. Whoever it is it will be another mediocre coach who will not have the balls to put his foot down to take control of the team. He will have to listen to the saboteurs that want their old buddies back on the teams. Expect Torosidis, Tzavellas and even Tziolis to be given their spots back.
