Vellios scored a screamer and would of scored three more for the ethniki but for the goal posts moving left/right. I don't know how people miss this!

Looks like Simoes will be starting against Veria, but Lazaros is still a question mark at this moment. Head to head we beat Veria both times last season, but we were 1-0 down in the away match last year before winning 2-1, so we can't let our guard down. They will be hungry to cause a home upset after the thumping they copped in the openning round. The match is on at 3am Sydney time (Sunday morning), i will be away for the weekend but will do my best to stay up for this. Original, bravo for making the effort to try and go to as many AEK games whilst you're there.

Thanks for the nice words, which are appreciated. Yeah it looks like the Laola option from last season has been put on hold by PAE PAOK. Not sure what kind of streaming or broadcast options they are looking at. Broadcast wise they only viable option in North America and Australia would be the Sport Plus/Antenna setup, but PAE PAOK does not want to be part of that. What gets me mad is that they did not have something in place before the season started. Why does everything have to be done half-ass backwards. Hope they get this issue resolved soon. Next home Superleague game is only 2 weeks away.

Must be my luck re boys I'll be in Kavala by end of week so will try my best to make the trip to Veria, really wana do an away game and the crowd there last season was awesome. Hopefully I can get there, 2 hour drive I'm told.

We did it 3-2 over oakleigh, what a game, what an atmosphere, my voice is gone, champions of Victoria for a record 10th time. no way the crowd was just 4,200, I'm pretty sure they chucked the gates open just before kick off and many weren't scanned, easily between 5-6k. The ffv showed again they're useless at organising an event by not opening the opposite grandstand, the front and back of the main stand was so packed you could hardly walk through.
