After some speculation that he would wear #13, it was confirmed he will wear #5, the question is why is Wemmer still wearing #11??? http://www.pao.gr/index.php/news/transfers/7585-2016-02-05-18-58-122 points

> Kace doesn't play > Kace doesn't get elected to play euro > Kace leaves the club this summer for peanuts >They let Kace play >Kace plays euro >Kace gets sold to one of the interested Serie A-clubs for a good amount of money Either way, he won't stay after summer so it's just up for the management to decide whether we get good money for him or not. Let's be honest guys, we're not in the position to let one of our best players rotten on the bench and to screw up a potential deal worth 3-4 or maybe 5 million just because we want to set an example.1 point

Shame we all live so far away, having a few beers together would've been great boys. Anyway back to the topic, it will be a rat race for 2nd spot and with PAOK losing this weekend (they play gavri and I cant see them winning) it will be left to AEK and PAO that 2nd spot....1 point

Zeman plays a 4-3-3. He broke down some of his decisions and tactics to Italian press and revealed his middle 3 are composed of two box to box midfielders and a slightly deeper midfielder who delivers long diagonal balls to either wing, (deep lying playmaker). Zeman thought Tachtsidis was his ideal player to sit slightly deeper, he's big and strong enough to win the ball but is also an exceptional long pass and capable of making an offensive run into the area. When he left Verona and got the job at Roma, he requested they sign Tachtsidis. Zeman thought Tachtsidis ticking more of those boxes than De Rossi and would often play him ahead of a fan favourite. It didn't help that the team weren't getting results either. Here's a video of him playing the role under Zeman, showcasing the good and bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO7VYmpzmJg1 point

Very interesting! Curious if the organomeni of thyra 13 wanted this. Didn't they want no player to have the number 13?1 point

Leto has played like 10 games the past two years in Seria B. Chances are he won't do anything in Greece, his knees are blown up. And there other signings are nothing spectacular, a few loan deals, and Vlachodimos on a free. And they sold there best player this year, I'm not worried about Vazelo.1 point

PAOKSWEDEN, there is already a deal that includes all the teams. The problem is that PAOK is the only Superleague team that opted out of this deal. That's why the PAOK home games are not available outside of Greece. In order to keep us happy PAE PAOK lets Laola stream the games. Like you said this will probably end, when this new company finds a broadcaster to show the games.1 point

Ah come on, what the governments, diplomats and multi-nationals want is very different to what the people want. No common citizen in the EU wants anything to do with Turkey. To say they are in a strong position geopolitically is fair enough, but adored is a big stretch. Not sure what you're trying to claim here. Are you confused ? Yes, we all know Turkey and Russia use their power to bully. I'm simply stating that as nations, their isn't much to admire ... at all. Who would want to live in such countries. They suck.1 point

At the beginning of the season I couldn't imagine Panathinaikos without Karelis. He was linked with Genk for a while I believe. Although through the season Karelis started to get a little selfish and wasteful with opportunities which makes me feel a bit better about his sale. It's time for a new chapter in his career and I will always respect the guy for his years at Panathinaikos.1 point

i just want to point out something as i want to point it out here. In the 2014 world cup we all know the players that played well Samaris, Kone and Lazaros. We thought that these players after Karagounis, Katsouranis and Salpingidis were going to do the job and show leadership and take over from the old players. Im finding it very hard still that we didn't qualify for Euro 2016. i actually believed we would reach the semi's in Euro 16 with the way we played in the World Cup in 2014. I also thought we would demolish our group. Especially because we have a younger squad with faster players. The 1st game is understandable, but after the 3rd game i started to realise something and something was not right. Something was not right. I still cant figure it out only until a few weeks ago. Yes there were things like the players were not showing passion, energy or showing no interest. But i believe that was not true. i believe the team had this mentality that they could take it easy against the teams as they thought they were too good for them and underestimated them. But then again the second match against the Faroes proved to be something else as it was i feel a poor combination players and bad luck up the front. The only good games we played was against Romania and Hungary both home and away. those are the only 4 that i think we played good and showed character but even then there were bad points as is always the case with the National Team. I know there is another topic on this forum about the most dissapointing player but i am having hard time as to who i think was the most dissapointing player was. But i beleve our defence was most dissapointing all included. But if i had to choose a single player that dissapointed me i think it would have to have been either Samaris or Kone. I actually counted on these 2 to do the job for Greece. I knew Lazaros would be inconsistent, I also knew Mitroglou would be inconsistent. The only good player i think overall and shows a lot of promise is Karelis, he shocked me a couple of times. I also think Karnezis could have done better. I also think once Torosidis and Holebas stop playing and lose form we will be in trouble. Kitsiou and Stafylidis i believe are not strong to keep up with the stronger teams. I believe if we want to get better we need to utilise Holebas and Torosidis on the wings and make sure Mitroglou is on his game swell as others. I also believe Fortounis needs to start from here on out. Id like to know what everyone else thinks about what i have said and add what else was the cause and what needs to happen from now.1 point

RS, we'd still be in the EU in theory unless they got vindictive. And NATO also. The only difference would be Greece would control its own currency again and could inflate if necessary to devalue. Also, Greece would have control over its rate of interest from its Central Bank. I see no benefit whatsoever in staying within the current Euro structure. Greece got suckered in by the promise of handouts which they duly received and wasted. I don't think the EU cared what was done with the money. They say they do, but I don't really buy it. Now that we're in they have us by the balls. For myself, the proof of how badly they want to control Greecr (or any nation for that matter) is the fact that they haven't booted Greecr out. If any nation deserves to be kicked out of the Euro club, it's Greece. And yet they didn't. This conversation goes around in circles as nauseum. This is the simple truth. They lent money to Greece knowing it was a win win either way. If Greece paid it back, all well and good. If not, take it back through other means. They will get their money back. So the Greeks of yesterday partied and the Greeks of tomorrow will pay.1 point
