At the risk of sounding too practical or too old, I'd say a good education & a degree is more realistic and helpful in your life. Very, very few lads make it to pro teams. Here in the US, there's an abundance of tallent (football and basketball) but only the very lucky ones make it to the pros. And, it's not a matter of talent or personal drive. It's luck and the brutal fact that there's more supply of talent than positions. I'd say, research schools and see which ones have strong soccer programs/teams. They might give you a scholarship to play for them if you can prove you're good. Bulid up your resume. The scouts concentrate on those schools. Rarely a talent is discovered at a playground any more. These are old stories. The colleges that have good teams also have a good academic reputation and money for scholarships. Get a degree no matter what. Not only it's more realistic but education and a critical mind is something you have with you forever. Good luck!

Aside from the fact that a man who was court ordered to stay away from soccer is still making public announcements as president of the team, i think Marinakis' post game s%$#! talking was the best thing that could have happened to us. You can't have an inconsistent (who was good today) Lampropoulo and a 20 year old DM Tzanetopoulo to completely crumble once Simoes is taken out of the mix. Our preseason decisions to not get a CF and CB were disastrous , thank god Didac has beena good move up until now. Hopefully the fataoul's words light a fire under gatouli.

Bro the entire progression of the match was changed because of a non existent goal and a good half dozen of our dangerous plays being whistled by non existent calls. Had the gauro not scored that goal the team doesn't open up as much and you also keep Simoes on the field. All three goals came as a result of the missing Simoes on the field. 70th minute with no score and this turns into a completely different game.

i have an interest in the socceroos....but don't 'support' them....whether they win or lose....it does not bother me....my interest is in 'general' terms about Aussie soccer...without the 'care factor'...

Go to the Arsenal academy. A random 4-5 year college degree in the US will give you nothing but frustration and debt unless ofcourse you are very smart or connected. Sorry to ask but being invited to an Arsenal academy I think you need to be younger than 19 or so , right ? Basically go to any football team academy, follow your dream and have fun and if you fail at soccer then you can always go back to school , never to late for that. What's this fixation about Mantzios anyway, how randomly bizarre obsession over a bum average pro footballer that must be.
