  1. If the teams play to their "normal" style it should be an open game and possibly even a high scoring game. Hopefully their aren't too many fouls and the referee let's the game flow.

  2. I do believe OTE streams are pretty easy to find; sadly all they have are the cup and euro games (which are easy to get streams for anyway). ziaka = blackhawk btw

  5. The buyout clause has to be somewhat proportional with his base salary, otherwise there might be problems with UEFA's Fair Play System. You can't pay somebody 100K for example and put a 100 mil buyout clause. His salary was increased to 200K and his buyout clause to 1.5 mil. It probably could have been bigger, but let's not forget that the player has to agree to it as well. Since prior to the deal, Pelkas could have signed with anybody in December 2015, the team did not have much leverage in the negotiation process.

  6. As a PAOK fan, I sincerely hope we win 4-0. But on a serious note, this will be an interesting match up. Buonnanotte seems like the real deal. An inspired signing. Not sure what tactics Tudor will try to contain him. In previous seasons, PAOK's tactic would have been obvious. Play deep and try for the counter. Tudor has the team trying to play a decent possession game and create chances in a balanced way. Not like last season where it was predominantly via the wings. Regardless of the result, it's great to see AEK back.

  9. Well if he has the intensity of a declawed cat and is unwilling to focus on his defensive part of the game that's demanded in modern European football then all the tricks on the ball, the little shimmy and nutmegs wont get you anywhere but to a bush league full of sand. He belongs where he's at right now. He's not exactly 18-20 years old where one can easily say that he can work on his concentration and with more experience his confidence will turn into aggression to make him a compete player etc. I don't even see Fetfa as wasting his talent like some think here think he does. He earns great money playing a sport for a living. The cream of the crop in World football play for the big clubs. Many of those don't possess his ball skills but are miles ahead of him in every other aspect of the game.

  11. I have a feeling we're more likely to see a Bulgarian broadcaster buy up rights to some games than we are to get novago to work

  12. Yeah, you pay for a box and s%$#! ton a month for service, and then 3 months in, they cut off nova. That's what happen to me with Greek IP TV, then I went to Ellas TV, they got cut off...now theres another guy who does it, but I'm not buying ANOTHER box, just to get it cut off in 2 months.

  14. Hi there, Greetings from Bulgaria! My name is Ivo, big fan of Berba for a long time now. I've been "following" him wherever he goes and I am glad he went to PAOK, only 4 hours drive away from Sofia. :) You can expect many Bulgarian fans now, not only online, but most probably at Toumba too. Saw some of the live stream from the stadium today and I must say I am quite impressed - not only by the amazing warm welcome from the fans but also by the work from the club which developed Berba related branding at Toumba, made Tshirts available for pre-order, updated the player's profile on the website and all that in practically no time! Wow! I hear that Mr. Savvidis really wanted him - Berbatov is a kind of guy that needs to feel wanted and special, so I think that's the reason he joined in, not because Aston Villa offered less cash. How did Berba do today? He seemed happy and honest to me. Although, that "we are brothers" part was a bit too much, perhaps - I know you guys don't really see us as brothers and I get it. When I go on holidays to Chalkidiki, I am usually ashamed of the particular Bulgarians that go there. :) Anyway, Berba is a different story, I am sure he'll do great things here and make us all proud. Your expectations must be quite high taking into account the 1.6 million + bonuses that you are paying. In his last season with Monaco, he got even slower with age but hopefully his other skills will compensate that. He's never been a runner, after all. He's known for his finishing abilities yet you will see that he's even more useful for building attacks - always taking the right decisions. Being clever on the field is his biggest strength, if you ask me. Sorry for the long message. Here are some of my favourite Berba gifs as a reward for reading all that:
