You are right about Karnezi Freezer.. If a big team picks him up or not remains to be seen... However, 1 thing I never got over though is his blunder vs AEK in the cup game back in 2010-11... The team had completed a ballsy comeback in the 2nd half of the 2nd leg only for him to blow it by coming off his line and getting "hung" by Scocco on the 8th (!) minute of extra time... That Cup was ours man as I believe we would of taken the Gavs.2 points

I think yesterday was the 15th penalty he has saved in his career. I remember 4-5 in his tenure with us already "Bloody" goalkeeper we have! Keep it up Luke!1 point

^look who's talking... Mr. If you're not living in Greece, you're a "kouto-amerikanaki/Kanado/Australaki..." At JVC, the Spartans as a fighting force were done by the time of the Roman Empire and therefore didn't play any leading role in the War of Independance vs the Turks. The Maniates however played a role of resistance.. It was deep in the heart of Peloponnesus (where the andartes roamed free) that the revolution proper ignited. We are talking Tripoli (Kolokotronis) in the unconquered mountains of Arcadia, as well as Messinia.. It was the battles in these areas proper that gave Greece her earliest victories as a nation.1 point

You obviously don't know how the football world works. Get yourself informed a little better before you start demanding such things...1 point

Between him and Karapapara you could feed those starving in Africa 15 times over there's atleast 400kg of kreas there :)1 point

Absolutley not... It's one thing to bet on "best defense" or "X player will play better than Y player" but I refuse to bet on my TEAM doing worse There's absoultey no way you will find me betting against PAO (as a whole)1 point

^^ I'm sorry... I can't watch that... Completely disrespectful to a damn good player and an utmost professional.... I'm sure if I compiled Cisse, Berg and Vazeha's "best" moments... we'd find something as equal or even more comical I for one will always respect Salpi and the man deserves a standing ovation anytime he enters Leoforo or our new stadium1 point

My roots can be traced back my villages in Pontos. My father's family is from a village called Pistofandon in Santa in the district of Trapezounta. My father's side left Pontos and settled in a town named Kars, in what was then Russia (now near the Turkish-Georgian border) in the Caucasus Mountains prior to WWI breaking out. They lived there for some time until after WWI they moved to with many other Greeks to their spiritual homeland of Greece. Getting to Greece took them 3 years. Instead of being relocated to the abandoned homes of Turk's who were living in northern Greece, they decided the build a new village an hour from Florina, naming it Neos Nakfkasos (New Caucasus) in homage to the home they left behind. It's not a very old village, just over 90 years old, the second to last village (Niki is the last) before you reach the Skopje border if you're leaving from Florina. My mother's side did not manage to evade the Greek genocide affecting Pontos, they barely escaped from their village in Imera, also in the Trapezounta district. They settled in a village near Edessa, somewhat close to the Loutra like Nea Bafra, in a town named Apsalos. My great grandfather on my mother's side who lived through WWI as a child and passed At 104 years of age (on paper, he may have been older) and was of healthy body and mind till his death of old age, he recalled all of the events that transpired during his life in Pontos. He lived majority of his life in Australia till his death, he could speak Greek, Pontic Greek, Turkish and a little English. A few articles were written about him and his story in Greece. Long story short, I'm from villages near Florina and Edessa haha1 point

The xasapi and the cripple. Eleos. You were, without a doubt, one of the people calling Cisse a sapaki one month into his first season. No doubt about that. It's August. Relax. Eisai toso ypervolikos merikes fores. Sanchez has played like 45 mins in a PAO jersey. I'm not saying he's an all world CB but he isn't s%$#!. Everyone wants the team to start the season rolling on all cylinders. It doesn't really happen like that, especially when you have so many new faces. As for Abeid, I think last year showed how big of a loss he was to the midfield. He's young, he's performed in this system and with the majority of these players, and he plays in a position of desperate need. He's a big pickup for PAO and we should be thankful he will be wearing the jersey until 2018.1 point
