As everyone knows Greeksoccer was shut down because Atillio (as well as some others) decided to do the bidding of his masters at olympiakosworld and sabotage everyone else. I really don't care if Greeksoccer is brought back online as they already made their intentions clear. Kosma or Yianni as he was when he gave a s%$#! about the site, always made his true colors and bias evident. It seems seeing his red forum suffer out of no ones fault but their very own (a bunch of kafro goons turning every topic into a flame war) was bad for his reputation so he decided to pull the plug all together. I personally cannot post in a forum with such a blatant red agenda. To be honest the red forums would have rebounded anyway once everyone at the gauro site realized what idiots that clan of degenerates has, but it seems Atillio had other plans. It was a shame that they had such a blatant disregard for anyone else on the forum as it seemed the AEK forum was really starting to take off. After a slow few months we had a good core of posters who posted regularly and some older members always contributing whenever they can. Conversation and posting was really interesting for the first time in a while. This is our new home and to anyone who joins here lets try our hardest to spread the word and get every ex-gs member on here to continue the path we were on after the parasites Red Spartan, Gavros7, Oliacos, and their goon squad were banned. Any old member we knew who we keep contact with has to be informed and jump ship. I hope someone can get in touch with guys like Original 21, OriginalSydney, EmprosAete, Greekfreak, as well as other posters! Hope to see everyone again soon :)

Dammit! I knew I asked too much of a signing bonus! :P I said it before, and I'll say it again, accor6 was the heart of the PAO forums on the other site! Bravo!

Welcome to all our newest members! This used to be a great forum where something was always happening. Then we lost a popular admin and a lot of people left, and we had a steady decline. This place has new life again, I'm actually finding myself having to adjust to it being this busy. It's been a while. Lazarus, Irlandos, myself, Genome, athinaios and a few others kept this place going through some lean times, and now, it looks like it's been worth it. Phantis is back! We're the best Greek sports forum on the internet again!

Well, I started here... things slowed down big time and I eventually moved over to GS... now I am back again... Life is a circle... Like our boys... back in the SL again next year!

Personally, I think our best bet is for both Romania and Hungary to get thrown out of qualifying for epeisodia in their game against each other. Otherwise, I'm with Reaper.

It can go a couple different ways at the end of the day to control our own destiny by having the last game against Hungary count we just need to make up 3 points on Hungary because then if we win the last game against them we get third spot on head to head matches. Even though we'd be tied in points, so even if Hungary beat Finland as long as we win we are still alive. Even if Hungary beat Finland but lose to Romania and tie Northern Ireland and beat Faroe Islands that would give them 7 points before facing Greece for a total of 15points, even if we won 3 games and tied one that gives us 12 points, so if we beat Hungary the last match we would be in. A bunch of different scenarios can play out. But if we don't beat Faroe Islands it's OVER.

Here I am too! On this site that everything started almost two decades ago! I was in these forums as TAKIS! There are still posts by me from that time ago! Yeah, I aggree. Samaras, probably is the most recognised Greek footballer. He's had 11-12y in Europe, incl. a good 7 years at Celtic, Champions League, Europa, 2 WCs and 2 Euro's by age 30. I fully understand his decision to go to Saudi as he enters the final years of his playing career. Samaras, still has a role to play for the NT, but just may not be starter every match.

Che I watched the game as it was on early for once in Sydney and he actually did well. His touches were great for those running off him, he should've scored in the 1st half but he hit it right at the keeper. His goal was taken very well also. Can see potential in him but I really cant see him being our starting #9 in SL, for me he just doesn't have that killer instinct we need.
