The difference this season is that we will play one game against a team from our own seeded group (AEK, Olympiakos or Panathinaikos) in the League Phase portion.

Zivkovic received a 2 game ban for his red card against Anderlecht. He will miss both Brann games.

inPAOK was saying the trainings make it looks like they might play a 4-3-3 with Louchet or Camara as the third option. Doesn't really make the picture clearer, of course. Just means we can expect to see one of Louchet, Camara, or Pelkas get the start there. I am certain that either way, Chatsidis gets the start on the right wing. In other news, it looks like Ali trained normally so I wouldn't be surprised if he sees action (though probably as a sub, I'd assume). I thought I saw him wearing a brace of some sort as well.

Konstantelias has temporarily retired from the Ethniki and has ruled himself out of the 4 matches in September. Remains to be seen when/if he makes himself available again.

They are similar, but 4-3-3 does not really have a "dekari", which in our case was Konstantelias. Pelkas can play that position for sure, but he has been very poor so far and if I was the coach I would not be starting him. Also, UEFA for some reason changed the refs for this game. Instead of the Portuguese refs we now have German refs.

With the absence of Konstantelias (and Zivkovic), I would not be surprised to see a 4-3-3 formation. It will be while before we see Despodov. Taha Ali has been doing minimal training. He might be available for the 2nd leg.

Konstantelias signed with Borussia 5. Tzolis signed with Arsenal Rumors that Barcelona are looking at Pavlidis and there are several teams looking at Mouzakitis. Is Jovanovic gonna wake up and start Konstantelias over Bakasetas (no team) and Mouzakitis over Kourbelis ?? Lets see Konstantelias plays w/Dortmund 30M transfer fee vs Bakasetas 900k value currently no team Mouzakitis plays w/Oly currently worth 25-30M on market vs Kourbelis (Asteras Tripolis I believe) worth 900k. I can't imagine we'll have a very different starting lineup than last game. Pelkas for Konstantelias, Chatsidis for Zivkovic. A shame Despodov still isn't able to play. I would also not be shocked if we play three CMs instead of Pelkas, though. Santamaria/Zafeiris/Camara.

Seems he's coming as a free agent? Not bad, but if he's any good then I wonder why he'd come to us at all. Hopefully this turns out all right.
