I don't know who I would pick the way the team is playing with no leadership and no heart all of those teams and I mean ALL scare me this year which is unfortunate. Oh well I hope for a easy group and good results and some points for Greece :gr:

I think it's best to play the better teams. if I were in Athens I would want to go to the stadium to see the likes of Celta, Espaniol, Frankfurt etc.

I believe that there are no easy teams in Europe, and if there are, they play their hearts out.

Traditionally, Panathinaikos does much better against the biggest clubs of Europe. Somehow I think the team bands together and stays focused in the most dificult of games.

Besides, against the best teams the wins are much more memorable, and the loses are easily forgotten ;)

Nah, we USED to play better against stronger teams because we could! Yes, PAO would struggle against lesser teams and play better against stronger teams... but we had game! We had the ability to do so.

What makes you think we can do it TODAY?

[when is the first UEFA group match for us?]

Cyberfish I like you, you seem like a cool dude and I love your optimism but you must be on drugs if you prefer drawing Frankfurt or Spurs rather than Boleslav :D Please can PAO draw an easy group and not a tough one, we need points not big games.

Let's get real here. PAO needs the easiest possible opponent at this time.

If we make it out of the group, then we will have the opportunity to show our "strengths" vs a good team... <_<

Even though I hate ur team, I still want u to do well in europe.

Reason being a better image for Greek football, and more UEFA points for Greece

I feel the same way mate! I want us to do well in europe so Greece will get many points...... so, hopefully, PAOK will have a realistic chance to play in europe.... in the UEFA cup! B)

seriously, exoume ta xalia mas.... It'd be best for PAO to draw the easiest team right now and have luck in the draw.

What is really hard to believe, is that ONLY Newcastle has more points than PAO, in the UEFA ranking.

That shows how well this team performed in Europe...a few years ago!

Two wins, will likely be enough to advance.

Placement matters, as group winners, will get the third place teams, in the elimination round ;)

PEACE
