Irlandos
I'm not sure if the man is of that persuasion or he was insulting the Romanisti implying that they are that way... I have my doubts about DiCanio but Buffon's case imo is worse.

Irlandos
Some information I didn't know: Lazio is the club forever associated with fascism. It was Mussolini's team and he was often seen in the stands. Source: BBC article

Irlandos
Buffon, according to the Sportime article, has written a book supportivr of fascism. He had wanted to wear number 88 on his jersey, which is somehow associated with fascism. That request was rejected after intervention by the Italian FA. In 2002, after Juve won the scudetto, he took off his jersey and celebrated in a vest covered with fascist slogans, cheered on by the far-right fans.
