I t will be a very difficult match

I will be quite happy with a little 1:0

Depor is a tough team

Oh, no no no no.....

You can't do that now.

Depor ARE NOT a good team. They are in the worst state they have been in 5 0r 6 years. This is a team that made it to the semis last year and beat Milan and in previous years they always reched the latter stages of Champions League.

This season they are not only poor in Europe but also in the Spanish league. They are so poor they couldn't even beat a team of old men from Piraeus.

So don't go bringing excuses that they are a tough team. They are easily beaten if you know how and if you have serious ambitions of making it to the next round. This is your easiets game of the group stages.

But then again, maybe it is difficult for a small club like Oly with no tradition, name, recognition and know-how in Europe. :P

a must win at all costs in my view and we will see which Olympiakos team will show up

I hope it's the same team that has shown up in every other previous season. Take the element of luck away which they have alot of this season, they would be rock buttom again this year

I can't get over the rivalry between Olympiakos and Panathinaikos supporters in this forum! From an "objective" point of view, the difference in the "European" Olympiakos this year comes down to one player: Rivaldo. Deportivo, like any Spanish team, will be difficult but in their current form I cannot see them beating Olympiakos away from home. Remember last year when they were hot Deportivo was held to a 1-1 draw by AEK in Athens. Olympiakos should win. I hope they do. I also want Panathinaikos to win in Rosenborg ... but that is for another post.

I don't think Rivaldo alone made the difference as Kafes and Schurrer look quite good this year.

The biggest change however, is that this year Olympiakos are a team which may have a lot to do with the coaching skills of an ex-AEK forward...

Good luck tonight!!!

The other keyword is Dusan Bajevic, I would add to that...

The team shows clearly that has a plan in Europe (I liked the fact that we pressed the accelerator after the 60th minute agianst Monako in Greece, obviously that have been studied before...), and also the organisation that our team showed in LaCorunia and also Monako....
