EURO 2004 - Greece wins it all.

I agree with AEK66 about Tsiartas starting. The Portugese and the whole world is expecting the usual defensive effort from Greece. With Karagounis out, Rehaggel may shock everyone and start with Tsiartas whose passing and dead ball play may cause some surprises. Go Greece!

nothing is 'etched in stone' , but it looks like it's going to be the predictible lineup.

There is little seperating the sides historically. A Greek victory tonight would completely level the statistics, with a won 4, lost 4, drawn 4!!!

Come on Elladara, you can do it!!! :nw: :nw: :nw:

Btw, before the game kicked off there was some garbage thrown out in Portuguese newspapers claiming that ref Markus Merk is a long-time friend of King Otto and would be pre-disposed to favouring Greece!

Looks like I'll be here for the game again :P

Greece is slowly catching up in possession. I think possession of the ball is vital for Greece today. Of course, the more you have of the ball, the more chances you have to score. We must also get a good attack going, I want a goal before the 75th minute by Greece.

39th minute and this is anyone's game.

Greece have had several organised attacks and are capable of scoring. Seitaridis, Dellas, Zagorakis and Giannakopoulos exude confidence that we were missing in previous years.

Btw, Miguel looks injured and will probably be going off soon.
