Blackhawk Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 All the work done by Biseswar. Prijo reaps the benefits.
pash Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 BTW I think this is the first time this season the team has been majority Greek?
paokarag4 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Kolouri from point blank range with the header right at the keeper really should of scored. Lovely cross by bisewar
pash Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Yes, it was a good pass by Koulouris, a wonderful (and out-of-nowhere) run by Biseswar, and a poach by Prijovic
pash Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Pelkas on for Cimirot btw, I'm guessing this means we're now a 4-4-2 diamond. Should look more offensive now.
Blackhawk Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 Quite sloppy in the last 10 minutes resulting in the tying goal.
paokarag4 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 and goal prijo!! what an end to the game!! full time 2-1
pash Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Surprising ending to the game haha, good job by Prijovic to score. Market value increase: 120k
pash Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Here's the press conference. I post it because around 13 minutes in, Lucescu is asked if any other players (mainly Mak, though I don't think his assistant heard the Q about Mistakidis) can play as center forward. Lucescu is bang-on when he says that *maybe* as a second striker, "but I'm not crazy about the idea." Today's game shows why - most teams we'll come up against will defend with 8 or 9 men; Mak's simply wasted as a center forward. Mistakidis, on the other hand, might work out a bit better there. But maybe that's just me proppin' up my boy.
