Assuming we get three points from the game vs PAO, this means an AEK loss in either of their games or a single draw by us will be enough to see us through, correct?

If that is not how that game is handled, then...it's pretty open how this can end.

Draw against AEK or win against Panathinaikos seals the deal.

If we lose against AEK, and AEK also defeats Panionios we need to defeat Panathinaikos in our last game.

Panatha will win its final 2 games.  Well, basically they just need not to finish last place, and they can beat Panionios to do that.

If only we had Ouzounidis 1 year ago when Strama was given a high budget  and the keys to the club............................

For Panatha it all depends on the punishment for the abandoned game against PAOK. Not only will they lose game to PAOK on paper, they also face a -3 points this season and -2 points for next season. That's according to the rules in the book. Now if they apply the Elladistan laws of the game things might be different.

So why is everybody striving to win the playoffs then? I'd rather have the slim chance (or call it a miracle) of making the CL group stage than playing EL starting in first week of July.

Especially ironic considering that PanathinAEKos will very likely not make it to the group stage of the EL, themselves.
