  1. ? People might be pushing opinions. People might be pushing lies. But please DO NOT say that 'everyone is pushing their own truth' - there is only one truth. Let's work toward uncovering it. While you might be calling it 'bullying', I'm calling it 'confronting intentional lies' and standing up against those that push false narratives and right wing propaganda. I do get your point and I will tone it down. Could not agree more. This is not a common goal we share. First of all you don't vote in the US. I do. Second, this is not a question about 'the best possible candidate'. We don't live in La-La Land. The players are set, the lines are drawn. The battle is between Trump and Biden. Don't give me the 'Biden is not good enough'. As I said in my very first post addressing your postings. Pick a side. There are two competitors, one battleground. If you are not with one, then you support the other. The rules of the game are as clear as daylight. 'Two men enter, one man leaves'
  2. Once again, let's push the Republican misinformation campaign. Let's try to assert that the radical left (whomever that might be - it just sounds scary) have taken or will take over the Democratic Party and that Joe Biden is just a pawn of the radical left. Over the past several years, As*hole in Chief Trump has used the term “radical left” to describe almost every single one of his political opponents, ranging from former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omer, and others. Just last month, as*hole in Chief Trump said in a Tweet that “[t]he Radical Left is in total command & control of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google.” And recently, once again, Trump used the term “radical left” in association with former Vice President and current Presidential candidate, Joe Biden. Radical left is a term to scare potential voters or turn off possible Democratic voters. As @Tzatziki has asked:
  3. Other than a couple of losers trying very hard to create uncertainty on Biden's health, anything else you've got? We know the playbook, we've seen it over and over again. You've made your opinion clear, we understand who you are and where you stand. Time to move one from the subject. Again, let's talk policies, not 'housewife' gossip or in Greek, ασε τα κατινίστικα φιλάρα! Unless of course the tank is empty - which is what I'm afraid of. ?
  4. So let's talk policies. Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden today celebrated the Supreme Court ruling blocking Trump from ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) , calling it a "victory" and again saying that if elected, he will work "immediately" on legislation that would make the program "permanent." The 5-4 ruling was written by Chief Justice John Roberts and joined by Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor. This is the second Supreme Court ruling that goes against the Republicans this week. Is there anybody in these forums that believes that DACA should end, and if so, explain to us why?
  5. Go push your bulls**t somewhere else buddy. Maybe you voted for a left party in your country, maybe you would've voted for Bernie had you lived here. Frankly I don't much care what you have to say, especially since you keep peddling the dementia diagnosis. Why would anybody need doctors, why would anybody believe the media (that say Joe Biden's has a clear and focused mental state)? All we need if for tantra129 to watch a video or two on his flat screen TV, or his mobile phone - it doesn't much matter, as long as the patient is at least 500 miles away. He can diagnose mental conditions, physical deficiencies or (are you ready for this?) the menstrual cycle of a female cat. Just show him a video of your kitty. On a serious side, in case you don't know this, Democratic Party voters selected Joe Biden as the party's nominee. Not the Democratic Party itself. Speaking of Bernie Sanders, you do realize that he is not even a Democrat, right? Just a populist leftist that wanted to hijack the Democratic Party for his own ambitions. Kind of like what Trump did with the Republican Party - just coming from the opposite side. Bernie Sanders was full of promises that stood close to zero possibility of being implemented. But they sure sounded good, right? Bernie just wanted to hide behind the Democratic Party and pretend he has a plan. Sort of like a spoiled rich kid hiding behind daddy's money and pretending they are self made and a good businessman (yes, that is Donald Trump). On a serious note, I would have liked it to have people from a younger generation running for the ultimate prize in politics, but what we'll get is Biden vs. Trump. Both old dudes, but only one (Trump) a proven a**hole. So yes, choose a side and vote for tomorrow's USA. Coulda, shoulda, woulda doesn't cut it. Ο κόμπος έφτασε στο χτένι as a Greek friend of mine (@JimAdams )used to say.
  6. And you know that how? Maybe you can take the time to tell people in these forums why you don't like Biden and his platform, instead of pushing falsehoods and unsubstantiated rumors? (Does Hilary being 'sick' ring a bell? ) Trump couldn't lift a glass of water with one hand. Doesn't mean anything. What matters is that he is a racist and a disgrace to humanity. Biden is running opposite Trump. Pick sides. No and, ifs or buts. Whether you are voting for one of them of somebody similar in your country. The contrast could not be starkest.
  7. According to the Guardian, the antibody has not yet been trialled on humans. So they are still a long way away from the desired result. Anti-Semites on the other hand have repeatedly been tested on the human population. They always perform the same. On a similar development scientists at Utrecht University (Netherlands) have worked on developing antibodies. As per the scientists it is “an initial step towards developing a fully human antibody to treat or prevent” Covid-19.
  8. Those are the kind of pseudo-nihilistic arguments made by advocates of the status quo to discourage people from seeking life altering decisions to improving their life. As Heraclitus so wisely has said: Τα πάντα ρει και ουδέν μένει Sometimes not at the pace we would like, but change is constant. Let us stick to the coronavirus subject. Let us attack each other's political beliefs in some other topic. Todo cambia, nada sigue igual
  9. As opposed to what? A current and ongoing disaster that threatens the collapse of the world economy? LOL. Sure. It's always best to be dependent on the generosity of fat cats, big business. You are so funny. Bourgeoisie arguments are outdated and will have to be called out for what they are. Oppression of the weakest among us. Capitalism in the US and UK haave failed to provide economic security and social justice for working people. Failed capitalism only perpetuates the well being of those that seek money and power. The same goes for communism. If we are going to survive as a species, we will need to think about what we need to do in order to protect people and the planet. We need to change the way we think the way we act. El capitalismo le ha fallado al pueblo! Viva Zapata!
  10. Well it doesn't really matter if we know that or if it true or not. I hope you are right and that is the case. Because Texas is not really ready to open. Texas will pay a high price for doing so. Opening up will require health care personnel and lab capacity for testing and contact tracing that is perhaps an order of magnitude greater than what is currently available in Texas. And experts say it will be very, very expensive. Political decisions like this will cost human lives. Remember that next time you go to the voting booth. Nuestros pensamientos y oraciones están con usted (Our thoughts and prayers are with you).
  11. Not sure if this is the right place for this post. If not please delete or move. I thought it is funny.
  12. It speaks volumes about the people that continue to congregate there. I think I will take my show to the road: "eat beans - you might fart a lot, but aromatic gases will keep the virus from spreading". I sound like a preacher - no?
  13. Yes the comeback surge was surprising. But that also speaks volumes about Sanders' viability and how ordinary people don't think he stands a chance in winning the Presidency. His pitbulls tout otherwise, but that's what pitbulls do. Think SYRIZA and KKE. Personally, I think Biden stands a better chance against Trump. But I also think that Sanders if going to f**ck things up for the Democrats - just like he did in 2016. His polarized followers will abstain from voting - yet once again - if Sanders is not the party's nominee. We've seen this show before.
  14. Bernie is nothing more than a populist that utters promises with zero percent chance of fulfilling. Sanders is exactly what Trump is, just on the opposite side. If he ends up winning the nomination for the Democratic party, Republicans will win in a landslide, take back the House and hang on to the Senate. In other words, the USA (and the world) is f**cked for years to come! But it is possible.
  15. For those that follow these things, what do you think about Biden's take on the climate crisis and fossil fuels? I'm not sure I'm sold. But whatever it takes to get the Orange Orangutan out and bring a little sanity to political life in the US.
  16. So did another 51.4 million people according to Nielsen. Your point is? Is that your opinion or is that what you quoted from the Guardian? What? Are you a totally confused individual? Who cares about Pence and Kane? I don't know where you think you quoted the Guardian, but even if you did... So what? The Guardian is a British daily that features opinion articles. Even if somebody has an opinion of something does not mean it is true - or a lie for that matter. It's an ...opinion. You have an opinion that Biden was aggressive with Ryan. Is it the truth or is it a lie? Neither! It's just an opinion. Again I suggest that people watch the debate and form their own opinion. Maybe you should watch it again too. If you don't like Biden, don't vote for him - if he wins the nomination.
  17. Sure. Maybe Gibril (by divine intervention) can pay for the NYT subscription as well? ¿Porque en la tierra? Why on earth do you keep pushing this stuff? We don't need Alessandra Stanley or Timothy P. Carney to tell us what we can see with our own eyes. Anybody interested in what Joe Biden and Paul Ryan said and did watch the debate at the Youtube video above. The rest is a waste of time, an effort to tell us "don't believe what you see with your own eyes. This is what really happened". ¿Qué tan estúpidos crees que somos?
  18. Yes, but was that with sugar and cream or without? It makes a huge difference. ☕
  19. It seems that domestic terrorism is alive and well in the USA under the auspices of the grand wizard, Donald Trump, and the Republican party.
  20. I don't recall a similar word in the US English language (or Spanish for that matter), but yet it appears that the symptoms of the government plundering the country while enriching the insiders are all there for the USA and for Mexico. Can you please explain how that is possible? Is it that we are becoming 'Greeker' without knowing it?
  21. Maybe someone should tell Ivan Savvidis it is time to launder more money.
