yes it is the coaches fault when you field a line up of d minded players who are incapable of moving the ball quickly up the field. bosnia just kept getting the ball back which led to countless attacks in the first 10 mins and completely overwhelmed us. when you only have to worry about defending against 2 players ( fortounis and donis) you can push more players up the field and keep them up there to stifle our break outs...

moron coach! goes down 2 nil right away and doesn't make a single sub the whole half... instead leaves fortounis and donis on their own having to run around the whole field wasting energy

Like can we not just have coach that fields his best 11 against a good team and says go out there and do what you do? We continously fail because the coaches keep putting the players in a position to fail.

This is 100% on the coach. Wtf kind of line up is this? 3 dms, bakasetas and gianoulis r providing 0 from the left. The goal was a fluke, but I'm not surprised we haven't scored. Sokratis is providing more than the 3 dms r. There better be 2 subs to start the 2nd half. Get Nan am out there and get bakashitas off.

Im glad we won, but just like I had said, no wingers and no speed down the sides and no guys making runs did this game in and prevented us from ever really being threatening. You can't have fortounis, mantalos and pelkas all play together and not have guys making runs for them so they can distribute the ball. Kourbelis and zeca shouldn't be together cause neither of them can really make crisp passes to set up attacks. Hence why fortou and mitro were coming back to get the ball. Why oh why the f did he bring out bakashitas? Like for what purpose. Like these coaches need to watch fn game tape. I don't care how old lazaros is, bakasetas couldn't tie lazaros shoe lace for him. Laz can play cam, cf, lw and rw. How is a guy like that not used. Torosidis and koutris were great today, imagine they had wingers to make overlapping runs with them today. Koulouris and mitro should have been on together. If your gonna just cross it in the box, might as well have 2 guys for the fins to worry about. Would have created more space for mitro. There's a lot of potential here, hopefully this coach figures it out.

It's not that we're being negative, it's that it becomes more and mroe apparent everyday that we seem to know this team and players better than the people running this team. We pay more attention to the players abroad than they seem too. Who is going to make runs out of the players selected? We're just going to have the wing backs running up and down the field? Believe me I'm really interested to see what this coach can do and what formation and tactics he uses. But I'm nervous because we've seen what not having speed in the lineup and down the wings has made us look like.

This is already a bit concerning. Not a single winger called up (unless masouras is a winger), 4 dms called, no lazaros and he still has bakasetas in the team. I like the riff raff are gone, and there are deserving players in, but some of the calls are very peculiar. Unless he's planning on going with a completely different formation? What'd he play at paok?

Scored goals in his for 2 games for the nt I believe, in a random friendlies tourney prior to the euro 08 qualifying. More of a personal achievement I guess but still pretty amazing. Was a sign of things to come lol

That's true lol he was a disaster. But this guy's a very close 2nd place. That press conference he did after the game today was such a joke as well. They needed to hammer him about the wing play. He's gotta be gone after today's. There's no way they let him keep going. He's sitting there congratulating a team that we should have wiped the floor with. We have very talented players in the pool, he just chooses not to scout them. It's obvious that he just picks based on minutes guys are playing, not based on if they're actually producing in their mins for club. You could see how frustrated mitro and fortou were cause they kept coming back to get the ball. And that's not good either cause then no one is up where they're supposed to be so they have no one going forward. Tsiolis couldn't even handle the ball today, he kept trying to do 1 touch passes and they weren't good passes. He's in a position that is supposed to distribute the ball forward and he did anything but that. Pelkas was fine, he's not a winger so he did exactly how'd I'd expect him to do playing out of position. He did have his head down a couple times when he needed to be looking up, but that was about it. He ran hard, but he's just not fast enough to be on the wing.

It's so comical, it's literally like it's out of a cartoon cause it's so unbelievable what we all saw today.

We need him gone now. I want the new coach to come in and have the last 2 games to see what he's got and we'll gear up for the qualifiers

This is worse than Ranieri. We had no left side, tsimikas was by himself all game. Tsiolis kept f'ing up and kept passing the ball back even when he had guys going forwards. Tzavellas, tsiolis and skibbe have ruined this team.

S#it first half just like I said. the right side is non existent because bakashitas is exactly that. Tsiolis might as well walk backwards, useless player. But this has to be skibbes tactics as well (or lack there of). These 5 foot passes and 3 player triangle passes is just mind boggling

What worries me though is would they even fire him? Like I wonder if the epo just looks at it and says "well, he did the best with what he has". Thhank God we have this vlakia nations league thing and then the euro qualies as well so if they did toss him out, we can quickly hit the reset button for qualifying.

We're going to see another frustrating first half if he fields that line up. The only chance we'll have at creating will be guys making individual efforts, which in itself is going to ruin our shape, guys will be out of position which will give Finland some very dangerous counter attacks. Hey guys, been a while I see nothings changed lol Skibbes still out to lunch and somehow tziolis has managed to stay relevant... Wtf. Thank go we didn't make the world cup and get embarrassed on the world stage with this dollar store coach. Torosidis could easily play dm, he did for oly a few times in the past. Not saying we should, but the option exists at least. But the massive problem as well has been skibbe playing a formation that requires wingers, and instead he uses cdm, cam, rb and lb's there. I have no f ing hope for nations league the way this is going. Even if he calls up good players, he won't play them all together. He's too stupid. Anyone who's down 4-1 on aggregate in the 2nd half of the 2nd leg that doesn't go all out offense, needs to have a CAT scan of his head. honestly he could drop fortounis back a bit and mandalos a bit higher or vice versa and have zeca as the true cdm or even have k paps be a cdm. He could even interchange with soks since he's played cdm as well. Options are there, this coaches brain is not however. Those are the types of experiments he should have been doing instead of the nonsense he tries in friendlies... Still can't believe we lost to SA lol what a joke

First game in a while that I really enjoyed. Tsiolis and Tzavellas can f right off with their patanant back passes to the goalie weather they have time to go forward or not, they just kill forward play. Tsiolis was ok today, but he thinks he's zagorakis, basinas and tsiartas combined. Pelkas needs to get his head up, made a couple brain dead plays today, but lot of promise there so obv forgivable. Staf is definitely much better when he's allowed to play his position without chains and has a good winger to interchange with, same for bakakis and Laz. Bakakis ran his bag off today, was great to see. Bakasetas just useless, comes out and just constantly cut to the middle with the ball for no reason at times, clogging things up, just wants to shoot, no creativity and no vision to make a pass. Was nice to get a win, goalies both made huge saves to get the w. If Skibbe let's the young guys spread their wings, and stops playing guys outta position, we may get things turned around finally, cause there's definitely potential to do so sooner than later.

Almost 2 years now this coach has been at the helm, and it's like he's seeing this team and our talent for the first time... It's just stunning the absolute lack of sense this coach has for our team. Unfortunately we're all wasting our typing ability cause he's not gonna do anything logical. He'll continue to give us all more grey hairs throughout this next campaign. He might get lucky with some good picks or decisions here and there, but that's prob gonna be rare. I read through here, and there are so many logical choices and picks that are talked about, and alot of them are pretty simple and obvious, yet this tool box coach can't see it. We don't always agree with what coaches in general decided, but we can usually understand what they were trying to do... Skibbe is like a Rubik's cube with some of the colors missing.
