The players are to blame of course especially coming of that great 2nd half at Bosnia and they brought nothing positive into this game. If we lose a close match than fine but this could have been a 6-0 loss at home? Just pathetic...

Ange had no game plan today and once again we were down a few goals in the first 30 minutes as was the case vs Bosnia and turkey. Our staunch defence looks vulnerable. Going forward we had couple chances Fortounis hit a nice volley that was nicely saved. Barkas shouldn't have been the first choice goalie but he saved 3 sure goals in the second half. We need to regroup big time and play with some urgency especially at home. Italy have locked top spot and just need them to beat Bosnia and Finland.

More injury woes for the NT..

A draw would be a positive result for Greece but the win is possible as we are at home and of we get it puts us in first place. Going to Italy will be hard as they have a great record in qualifiers on Italian soil. Greece have to beat Bosnia at home and then take at least 4 points from Finland and that will put us through.

Good question? A game of this magnitude should be a sell out or close to that. I wish I could be in Greece for it!

I am so excited for this match, Greece rarely get matched up with Italy in Euro or WCUP qualifiers or at finals tournaments. I play football with many Italians and have lot of Italian buddies. When I ask them for there take they don't seem to be that confident as they say they are in transition and not an overwhelming side. Greece have to play it tight at the back and wait for our chances to come.. PA ME ELLAS!

I can't find any news on Mitroglou? We have to be better defensively as the last two games we have conceeded 2 goals in the first 20 minutes.. With Manolas back things should tighten up at the back. Also no Balotelli is a bonus, greek defence has to be especially careful with the pacey Moise Keen.

Kolovos better start he has been great and always looks to play direct.

Samaris was very bad yesterday, in the Bosnia match he was strong for us but Zeca in the middle with him helped out immensely. Fortounis smashed a great chance wide of goal in the first half, I thought for sure he was going to put it away. Overall he looked off vs turkey but I expect him to bring his best game vs Italy, let’s hope so.
