Yes, they were really going hard after him and they bring him to the NT and he hasn't played since the Bosnia game? I don't get it, Barkas wasn't to blame vs Italy as he was bombarded and made some excellent saves but he shouldn't have got start vs Finland and Liechtenstein. As for Ranieri we are all aware how he sabotaged the NT.

The injury problem with the NT is out of control. Anyways I would like to see Vlachodimos get some match time and be our regular goalie going forward after all the EPO spent alot of time getting him to commit to the Ethniki.

Tsimikas is out with injury he suffered during the match with Aris, Koutris will replace him. Dzeko is missing match vs Greece and against Finland, big blow for Bosnias hopes to qualify. It's ashame we couldn't hang on for the draw at Finland and then I think Greece would have put Liechtenstein away leaving us in the running for qualification.

Definitely worried about the score getting out of hand vs Italy. Bosnia are beatable so Van't Schip should go with at least Manolas especially since he knows Dzeko and his tendencies.

I would have preferred to at least have Manolas play especially vs Bosnia in Greece. I don't want Bosnia beating us and definitely do not want them to get second place. I like that he is injecting some youth and give them some experience. Why Bakasetas though? We've been through this with Ange and Skibbe.

That's right he can still help us on the pitch if he just focuses on his game, his attitude just needs work. I am all for trying the young guys but we need to get results in these remaining qualifiers to start slowly moving up the FIFA rankings.

It's great from the sense that he is taking charge and initiative and he wants to see how the young guys can perform and he is throwing them in vs a world football power in Italy so that will give them a great taste of the international game. I just hope we can get a result vs Bosnia as it's a rivalry and I really don't want them to get 2nd. That's were I would have wanted to see Sokratis and Manolas play, but at this point I am open to letting Van't Schip try to implement his vision for the team.

Very bold move I am speechless that Van't Schip left Sokratis and Manolas off the NT. I guess this mean he has full control or else those guys would have already got him canned. The only negative is that he is apparently going to call up Bakasetas??

Leave Samaris off the team. Van't Schip has to bring Mitroglou back in especially vs Italy who will not give us many opportunities, so if one opens up he would be best bet to score. Also siovas has to get some playing time in the back..

Going into the matches with Italy and Bosnia Van't Schip has to call up Mitroglou he is our best bet to score goals given the #9s we have at our disposal.

Greece better beat these clowns like the Skopians, Albanians and FYR of Kosovo, if we get them in our group.

We need a real leader, when karagounis retired that's when this spiral downwards began. Though I would have never imagined it would be this bad. Also letting Santos walk and replacing him with Ranieri a man without any clear plan and it showed with the results especially losing to the Faroe islands. I hope Van't Schip can implement his plan and we hopefully see some results and start to move back up the FIFA rankings. For the next Nations league Greece are in League C along with Cyprus, Albania, skopia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Georgia, Estonia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Armenia, Belarus, Luxembourg, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Greece have to win there group there are no excuses we should have finished first last time out which blew our chance of a play off spot for the Euro's.

Just use to Greece being near the top 10 or mid teens as we used to be for such a long stretch of time.

It's ridiculous for Greece to be in 60th. The FIFA rankings are not that credible, I don't know how the power house of football Venezuela is in 26th?

I heard on Georgiou radio show that Greece still has a chance to get in to the Nations league playoffs. They were saying if Norway, Finland or Romania get automatic qualification a spot opens up for Greece? In which case we would play Serbia in playoffs. Anyone heard anything in regards to this being an option.

Hopefully Van’t Schip gets to pick the players that are in top form and hopefully the EPO stays out of his decision making. Overall I liked his player selections. I was glad he didn’t select Bakasetas a guy who should not have been included at the start of the qualifiers. Fetfa finally getting called and starting was a plus. I just thought Mitroglou should have been called up especially to see some time in the match vs Finland.

It's just mind boggling how over the last 5 years we have lost to the likes of Faroes, Luxembourg, Hungary, Estonia and Finland and now the draw with Liechtenstein. This should never occur with the talent we can throw out on the pitch and would never have happened with the great players and leaders like Karagounis, zagorakis etc.. Also Otto and Santos did not put up with any crap from the players and the EPO and they worked as they wished not like the circus atmosphere that we have seen over the past 5 years.

I'm willing to give Koulouris a few more games to see if he can produce. Mitroglou can still score and I still think he should be on the team. He would have had a couple last game with those opportunities that fell to koulouris. I think Van Schip should have called him up and used him to sub in at Finland. Sokratis and Manolas didn't say much after they let the Liechtenstein forward out pace them on the goal. I guess Sokratis can't blame Angelo that. I love Sokratis but he has to shut up and play and not worry if his pals don't get the call up to the Ethniki.

Van’t Schip in host post match news conference said at HT they talked about not letting Salonovic hit us with his speed on the counter, unfortunately he did. As you said it should have been 3 nil or more at the time so it wouldn’t have mattered as much.
