Cheap penalty for Porto but Olympiakos played a brutal first half. No passing just hitting the ball aimlessly up the field. Masouras had the only good chance and missed the target one on one with the goalie.

The best Swedish teams I watched was the 1992 side that hosted the Euros and lost in the semis to West Germany. In 1994 they lost at the World Cup to Brazil in the semis but ended up in 3rd place. I remember Tomas Brolin having a great tournament. Then with Zlatan and Henrik Larson the best they did was quarter finals at Euro 2004. At the 2018 World Cup they reached the quarters but were beat easily by England 2-0. They are a well organized side but there is no one in there lineup aside from Zlatan that we should fear, that’s if he gets called up.

I prefer Greece play at the Karaiskaki that stadium with our fans gives us an advantage.

Heard the show earlier today. I enjoyed the segment on the NT and the wcup draw. A few of the hosts are not to optimistic of our chances to progress. One of the guys liked our chances of taking 2nd place from Sweden. Good questions from the listeners too.. Keep up the good work!

Spain coach Luis Enrique said they are tired of playing vs Sweden lol. They were grouped together in Euro qualification & will meet up in the Euros again.

Oh great! I wanted them in the 3rd match day.. Sweden gets Spain on the final match day hopefully that doesn’t hurt us.

That's a good point offensively we are creating chances by the boatload in a lot of matches recently compared to the couple we used to create in the past. Our defensive errors vs Austria cost us that game. I hope JVS can bring himself to call up Manolas & Siovas back to the NT and just have those two go in front of the media and say we are going to give everything for the country & the team and will just focus on doing our job for Greece to qualify for the World Cup. Lets hope they can all come to an understanding.

No I was pissed like most of us here when Croatia beat us badly in the first leg and they went on to Russia. I’m just saying that Greece in this group can claim second place.

That's right the tougher the opposition Greece up there game as they did in Belgium drawing a World class side and minutes from winning that game in Brussels. Who knows maybe we get a result vs Spain. Sweden are a good hard working side but they can be beat. There top talisman is Berg but he is not as big a threat as he once was when he played for PAO. JVS has to be careful the team doesn't let there guard down when playing vs Georgia or Kosovo.

Greece have made the world cup playoffs in 2010, 2014 and in 2018 and we will make it again in 2022!

Very tough draw for Cyprus. I say Russia takes 1st then Croatia.

Sweden was a good pot 2 team. Spain along with France was the toughest from Pot 1.

Sweden can be beat they’re nothing special. Going up vs Switzerland Ukraine and even Poland from pot 2 would have been tough. Last time we had Spain in our qualification group Greece went on to win the EURO 🏆 PA ME ELLADA!!!
