Great result for PAOK! Benfica were dominating for much of the match but they could not convert there chances. They were lucky to be given that bs pk. I hope PAOK can finish the job and book there place in the Champions League.

Karnezis is an average gk, Skibbe should try someone else in the Nations league. The goal he allowed to Ruiz in the Costa Rica game was mind boggling. Also when it comes to penalties he never seems to come up with a save, the only stop I remember is in the 2014 World Cup qualifier in Bosnia but then the rebound was put in the net.

We better hope Mitroglou gets some playing time as Karelis is falling out of favour at Genk and may not be in Skibbe’s plans.

Good point when you look at it from that perspective. Looking at the pot 2 teams none are really scary. Holland are on the decline and have one of there weakest starting 11 in years. Italy are in transition. Poland looked poor allover the pitch at the WorldCup. N. Ireland, Slovakia, Romania, Austria can all be beaten. Maybe Iceland would be the most difficult team out of pot 2.

England do have speed but they play the kick and run style which suits our defense fine. I would much rather face the English then a great technical side such as a Belgium or Spain.

Sweden, Romania, Greece that would be a fantastic draw! I will even take England from pot 1.

I can’t see Prijovic having such a poor game vs Benfica. I still can’t believe he missed the net on that header in the box. He will be better and PAOK have a good chance to get by Benfica.

Oikonomou was outstanding, especially in the first leg in Scotland when they played a man down. Great job by all the AEK players.
