  1. He does get past players often enough I think, it's true like you say that he does not have that x factor or superior dribbling skill like a weiss kevin or galletti, but few players do, and they are not lining up to come to Greece. They have to be overpaid and even then they often prefer to be in a better league. Mirallas was a bust in France and came here to jump start his career, Galleti I think craved to be the star at a club with a decent size fan base, some CL exposure good money etc, and his club might have only let him go so easy because they knew he was damaged goods, Weiss was just a mercenary and its a shame because the kid has skills to spare, but any young guy that chooses to stay in the desert for more than 6 months to a year for me is not the kind of player I want at our club. I respect that football is a business and he has the right to make all the money he can, but I prefer a player who wants to do big things, not play in a league that is about as relevant as the salad menu of mc donalds.
  2. I have not really seen much of Gianniota, but I think Seba is a pretty solid winger, he can create space for himself, he works hard at both ends of the pitch, gets himself into good positions, his finishing though is below par, if it was halfway decent I think he would score close to ten goals a year in this not so Super League of ours.

He always was a bit of a salty dude.
  4. Gianniota is becoming a club legend for APOEL, I can see them making a serious bid to keep him in Cyprus this time around, especially if they get that group stage CL money. I hope our brothers with the funny accent get a good draw Friday.
  5. I just hope he plays wherever he ends up, we need a game shape Samaris for the NT.
  6. Half the US population has admitted to doing some drug at some point, this is not a small number or some fringe issue.
  7. To be clear, you were speaking on illegitimacy, so I assume you were speaking about parents not being around to rear their children, if I am wrong about that then disregard my post.
  8. A significant contributor to this stat you posted (without a source, but that's fine), is the racist drug laws in the US and racist law enforcement. Stats do show that Caucasians do consume more drugs than visible minorities but the latter are prosecuted disproportionately and much more severely. The laws that give people higher mandatory minimums for crack cocaine possession as opposed to powdered cocaine is an example.
  9. Professor, on this topic, there is nothing you can teach me I feel, with all due respect.
  10. Saw the above movie this weekend and there was a sizeable amount of time spent on the failed war on drugs. It was very surprising and refreshing to hear the US drug czar himself admit that the war on drugs is a waste of time and resources and simply not effective in any way. I'm not surprised that he has that opinion, but rather that he would put it on the record given his position. Well done to him.
  11. As if our offensive game was not impotent enough, some bad luck for Jimmy below. Hopefully Pardo is fit to play and Silva gives him a start on the right. Pulido is doing better and made the trip to Israel, only players who stayed in Greece are Jimmy, Siovas and Omar, Kasami has left for England today as well and will not be with the club for very much longer most likely.
  12. Good luck to the man, but that crest just does not look right on him... :nono:

Seems like old man Savva is most likely who Geo is speaking of. If I had to pick sides blindly without knowing the details, I think I would go with the old man, Geo was a great player but never really too "cerebral" I feel.
  14. Living in Turkey right now must be about as much fun as going to the dentist for tooth surgery, without anaesthetic.

  17. The party was created as a result of violence, and intimidation suffered by the members. To say that the Panthers promoted Black power through violence and intimidation is false. These were and still are tools that the government employs, through the military and law enforcement agencies and more recently private armies for hire as well.
  18. Cheers buddy, your line that I quoted was quite amusing i must say
  19. Pas is a team that you gotta respect, decent local fan base, and punches above their weight every now and again, I hope they get through, would be really great for the town and their fans.
