Agree, the type to be given a gold crown and complain that it's too heavy. I honestly think the ultras/organised fans are kind of missing being heralded as heroes when they used to "stand up" to those dirty and corrupt presidents we had in the past. Back then they would demand action and chase these people (or try to) out of the club. Now with a president who actually pays and has brought success there is no real reason to go after the president, but they are trying to manufacture one IMO. The club has made mistakes, we have had a few poor summers in a row in terms of transfers no doubt. But the reality is Ivan has saved our club as you have pointed out Bananas. PAOK has never had a president who has sunk so much money into the club, yet as you point out people exist who won't ever be satisfied.

If there is any silver lining with that decision, its that it gives us some more time to get our house in order and sign these players that we so desperately need to. With only one weekend between the postponement and the break for the national teams, who knows if we actually see any domestic football before the international break.

Played well I thought. Looked a lot more assured on the ball than his fellow left back Tsimikas on the opposite side. Showed his trademark pace when he broke forward and always looked dangerous in attack. Dealt with Salah relatively okay, despite this Salah ends up man of the match with 2 assists and a goal, sometimes the opposition is just too good?‍♂️ He clearly tired in the 2nd half, and that is his challenge, at this level the top players stay dangerous for 90 mins you need to be able to have the legs to go with them. Overall I thought he had a slightly better match than Tsimikas, but both can hold their head high. Ultimately having this type of competition is a good thing, we have 2 left-backs playing in the Premier League and both didn't look out of place.

To me he seemed nervous and made a few mistakes on the ball where he took too long and was caught in possession. Was okay but will need to clean up the errors against better opposition he will be punished, something I think he is capable of doing.

Jesus we need to sign another striker even if it's on loan. Can't see Swiderski and Koutsias (who isn't ready really for first team football) carrying the load.

If we were a little more focused we could and should have scored more, there where plenty of goals we left on the table. Unfortunately we were a little too relaxed at times in attack and blew some big chances. We were the better team, but got lucky our sloppiness should've cost us a goal at the end. Improvement needed to get through Rijeka-Hibernian

You got your wish! Tzolis is flying out to complete the transfer, we've seen him for the final time in a PAOK shirt. It's a shame he never got to play in-front of fans at Toumba. Wish the kid all the best, not sure England and the Premier League is the right move for him at this stage but he'll get plenty of development and hopefully plenty of game time.

All the noise coming out from reports is that sooner or later, either in 2 days or 2 weeks we will sell Tzolis. Seems to me we are waiting for the 2nd leg of the Bohemians match until we accept the offer, similar to Akpom last year where we held out until after the Benfica game.

Baba would be a great signing and would slot in as a starter. The question I have is will Vierinha accept being relegated to 2nd choice left-back. At 35 it's clear he can't start and play 85% of games as a full-back he simply doesn't have the legs to get up and down the pitch for 90 mins. He still has quality and will be useful coming off the bench and pinch-hitting in games where we will boss possession, but I do worry about him starting in derbies(and in Europe hopefully) against good wingers.

Not the best draw but definitely not the worst, Rijeka will be tougher than Hibernian IMO. Let's take care of business against Bohemians first.

We know why he's being let go, he causes problems and plenty of them. Let's not act like the guy is a saint, he's caused problems for multiple managers now. You don't just keep a player on the team no matter what, being a successful team requires there to be a good team culture. Warda has had enough chances, wish him all the best but I'm team Lucescu/PAOK on this decision.

There is absolutely stuff we don't know about. Do we actually think Warda who has had multiple issues in the past which has resulted in multiple managers not wanting him has done nothing this time around? Sorry where there is smoke there is fire, he has a history of this sort of behaviour. Credit to Garcia who was able to get him onside and playing for him without any major fuss (we don't know what type of concessions Garcia was making for this to happen) It's a shame because as a few of you have pointed out he is a real difference maker, he is good enough to be a starter for us. But it seems he needs to play at a mid-lower table team where they will tolerate his antics and ego.
