He started most of the year in the Prem and actually played well once he got used to the speed of things. He is too fast and crafty on the ball to not play him and we tried Tsimikas as a third cb and him as the back and that didn’t work I think keep Kosta and him on that side they will terrorize. Limnios would have to play a little further back than usual (and on his opposite side but again we have nothing else in the mid) but he has played well this year and ANYTHING is better than bouchalakis, bakasetas, or even Mantalos. Maybe u can put Masouras there maybe. Also look, we need to be honest. Giakoumakis and Pavlidis would be generational starters in any other Greek side (besides Mitroglous peak) we need our best players playing period same logic with Giannoulis. Slovenia wouldn’t not play two strikers if two strikers were obviously 2 of their best 4 players. We are not France or Italy. You play ur best players same reason Giannoulis on here. Tziolis first pick for sub and obviously this lineups needs Manolas and siopis to come back from their issues with the team.

Jose Mourino has expressed that he wants Tsimikas at Roma. I think this Roma team will challenge for the title next year so that would be nice and he needs more game time and would follow the footsteps of Manolas, Holebas, and Torosidis at Roma. But man, kinda hoped for a bigger club than that? We’ll see what he does

Very winnable game. Lets hope the boys can take out their frustrations from Europe on the reds and hopefully win some silverware. This team has had too good of a season by Greek standards to end up empty handed. We were the better team in the first game for most of it, however, as per usual we have no finishing up top. Hoping for Kurtic or Zivkovic strike to take us thru to the finals!

Subbed off in the 90th minute as AZ came back down 1-0 to beat Heerenveen. Didn't score but did some nice things. kinda blew a good fast break opportunity, but another full 90 to his name regardless. Currently fifth and 3 points off third (European Football).

Another loss for Norwich against Newcastle 3-0, which pretty much ends any hope for Premier League survival for the boys. Giannoulis played the full game and Tziolis was subbed on, but I was unable to watch the game, so not sure how well they did. Judging from the score line, prob not too great lol. Championship minutes for Tziolis would be far better than rotting on a bench hopefully this will be a good opportunity for them to play him and keep Giannoulis as a permanent starter.

Started and was subbed off at the 90th minute in a comfortable 2-0 win against Sparta Rotterdam. This is also huge because it ties them on points with third place Feyenoord. I don't know why but according to google the Dutch league only sends 3 teams to Europe. 2 to Champions League and 1 to Europa Conference League.

Not sure if there was an injury issue, or he has just looked great in practice, but Limnios has gone from being a regular sub to starting the last two games. They didn't play this past weekend, but the week before he scored in a 2-0 win against NEC. This brings his goal total to 5 goals in 28 games playing as a winger. Keep in mind most of these appearances are off the bench. Hopefully he becomes a mainstay in the starting 11 and continues to improve. Keep in mind, Twente are 4th currently, so that is an even better look for him.

Nothing too crazy last weekend, but he kept a clean sheet against rivals Sporting as Benfica won 2-0. They are now 3 points back from second place Sporting, which is crucial as the top two teams in the Portuguese league get champions league football. It shouldn't matter too much for our boy tho as he likely wont be there next year, but great performance for him none the less.

Played another full game against United. Despite the team giving up 3 goals to a Ronaldo hattrick, he played pretty well. Won the ball a couple times from United players and play a ball that started the buildup to Norwich's first goal. However, this 2-3 loss to United put what already was a bleak chance at staying up in the prem to an even bigger doubt. While it would be nice to keep him in the Prem, I believe he would be a lock in starter in the championship, as the teams concerns are all over the pitch. It would be great for Tziolis too, who got no playing time even though they were chasing a goal. I wonder if Dean Smith just doesnt like his attitude or what but he is getting wasted sitting on the bench.
