  1. They are going to put all their efforts towards the league
  2. I think its obvious ninis is not the answer, anyone still having high hopes for him, needs a reality check...
  3. just saw their goal, pranjic should never be defending at the near or far post for that matter
  4. And i just saw oly's draw  Even dinamo over there will be tough
  5. only if we score early, and they have to chase Should be 3-1
  6. Galitzios would've been a safe bet. Sanchez knows the position really well as well, just lacks the pace.
  7. ^^And wemmer won't? Wemmer loves to get forward as well, only unlike galo, he doesn't offer anything.
  8. ^^^Why do they call you guys hooks or '
  9. Why the hell did we not sign galo? He was ours, all we had to do is give the 'okay'.
  10. I have no beef with astera, just oly
  11. Seems like fener is bitter over CAS decision regarding oly and rightly so...
  12. As freeze mentioned karnezi communicates and is a leader at the back. You feel his presence a lot more than that of steele's. Both have amazing reflexes, and dominate on ground level. Steele seems more agile though. Neither are excellent leapers, but if the ball is heading to the top corner, i think i'd rather have karnezi over steele. Both are playing to their full potential though and i think knowing when and when not to come off your line for crosses is the biggest mind F*** for most keepers. Generaly those that excel in this don't play in the superliga.
  13. Kotsolis is worthy of number 3. He is not that bad though. Did anyone see platanias keeper the other day? I think steel was another dabiza find but how did this guy not make an epl side? Seems like he could be on the highlight reel every week.
  14. We have always had quality at both ends of the park, whenever we have accompanied this with a strong midfield we have created memories.
  15. Can't have your cake and eat it too. It's either greek football or your club. Your beloved club couldn't care less about the league, because that would seriously hurt their intentions.
  16. Don't discourage the kid, evale golara :P For the most part yes, but last season was an exception. We beat you guys fair and square, gave you guys a scare and as a result you guys did what you had to do.
  17. @Freeze, all this time we were longing for abeid, you included and now that we got him, you find a way to sour the mood. Try to understand that the fans are frustrated. We have had a horrid preseason. This move, late as it may be, finally gets us feeling somewhat chirpy. We are well aware that he is no rock star, but he is an important first team player for this side and the chemistry he displayed with his teamates was second to none. He is also an extremely clever player which is rare for someone of his age in this league. Last season, when we failed to bring him back and with berg succumbing to injury, it all went to s%$#!. Anastasiou had to compensate with petric and karelis. Also i remember well on the old site, you of all people saying after we beat a dismal paok side to lift the cup with abeid in the lineup, that 'we have a side worthy of taking on big challenges'.
  18. Hold on a sec. In most cases your right but last season's squad was also rather thin and yet made a push for the title up until the unfortunate events that unfolded. After that, the players didn't play with the same enthusiasm. It's anyone's guess what could've happened but we definitely had the team to do it. The key for pao this year will be how many points they generate in the first half of the season, because if the last two seasons have shown anything, is that we really come alive in the second half of the season. Offcourse around this time of the year, we don't have the distraction of europe.
  19. It's a tall order no doubt but not impossible. Firstly build a side good enough to surpass any malicious behaviour. Oly not spending to their potential to increase the gap between the sides (because they feel they don't have to because they have EPO in check), should come as some encouragement. Also let's see what tigris brings to the table, he has the potential to shake things up.
  20. There's no real significant cash to be made in the europa league, cash that go along way to sorting out our financial issues. Alafouzos said that only getting into the CL group stage can really get us out of this financial rut. Until that happens any money needed to plug holes there and there can be put forward by alafouzos and co. After losing to brugge, we said we might have to sell a player or two. Not only did we not sell but we brought in abeid. Having said that, if we don't beat this side, the fear is that everyone will turn on the coach and players, if they haven't already. Perhaps in the group stage, continue to give the lesser players some necessary european experience and always lineup strong for domestic games.
  21. When you're bad, you can lose to just about anyone but this qabala side would struggle in the football league. Anything but a positive result and it would be time to close up shop. Berg doesn't look ready. Lacked sharpness in his touches. He struggled to finish the brugge games.
